Africans that clicked on because they can’t dance and feel like they’re missing out, i see you all and i am with you all ✋🏽😔
BB G 😂✊🏾
Right😫 we got this lmao i can dance decently but im tryna learn some african dances!
im african american 😭i just wanted to learn how to dance like this. but honestly im loving it. im just learning more about my ancestors from west and south africa.
I’m not alone 😭✊🏽
I am latina. I'm learning too
Watching when you’re laying in bed seems easy till you stand up😂
Currently! 😁
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😄😄
My brain to my body: "TRY IT I DARE YOU"
I swear🤣🤣🤣
That kermit meme 💀
😂😂😂😂
😂 right?
LoL
I never understood the meaning of having two left feet until I tried following all the steps with music.
😆🤣
HAHAHAHAHA ify bro
So true am really down in dancing
😂😂😂
Glad I'm not the only one😭😂
Watching while in bed🙈
😂😂😂
Mi as well
In bathroom 🤭
Waiting for The train
🙈
wow she's such a good dancer and teacher and she is so beautiful
Whatever she is doing is how I THINK I dance...how to transfer those skills from my head to my actual limbs is whole different story! I have never felt so old in my life! Anyone here over 30?
😂😂 I'm not even thirty and I can relate😭
I'm 32 and I felt this exact same way in January however, key thing is to keep practicing - your body will get used to it. It's all about muscle memory... I feel so happy as I have mastered the legwork crossover and never thought I'd get it🙌🏾
Same here 36 in 1 month and I just tried some of the new dance steps last week. I love music and I looove to dance I'm feeling it I'm really feeling it but my body speaks another language 😂😂😂
And I thought I would never get out of dancing skills 😅
Yes 53 and I'm getting it🇯🇲 👏💕
am 15😂😂😂
Saves into the folder “dance lessons”*
Me too. :-)
@Thinia xd
Me too!❤️👏🏿👏🏿🥳🥳🥳
Same 😅😅
Lolll
I’m a proud African, but ashamed to say that I’m stiff like a rod and cannot dance at all 😭 hopefully this tutorial will help me progress before my mothers wedding. I refuse to embarrass myself and my family.
Did you learn the dances?
In my mind I'm the biggest baddest dancer until I start to actually dance and that's where my 2 left feet starts to prove me wrong 🙆♀️
You and me both. These dancers make it look so easy.
We went South africa for our Honeymoon in 2017 .
We went there in so many clubs and people Dancing there had a very different Vibe we tried to imitate them tried dancing with them . Some girls were so extremely sweet they holded my hand a wer trying to teach me.. I loveeeee their Vibe ❤️❤️ love from India
It looks sooo easy!
Until I stand up to try. Ouuff

Me too!!!
Oh dear, tell me you nailed it on the dance floor. Big congrats
Girl YAASS!! My "Dark greens and orange tones look FABULOUS on any shade of black girl" theory just keeps getting proven time and time again!! #ILoveItHere 💅🏽
Girl same. Well not my wedding but bridesmaid and I can't dance
Same here
Damn when she was teaching that cross legwork and she switched from slow to fast I was just like “mammmiiiiiiiii slooowww down na”🤣

5:15 - network (Ghana)
9:09 - gbeku (Nigeria)
12:45 - crossover legwork
Awesome tutorial! 🤓💃🏾
Me.. I will be 71years young in December👍🏼
I plan to practice...🤓
I plan to get it down! LOL! Positivity mind and body work together LOL!
Does anyone know where the legwork dance and leg cross over dances are from?
@@blackestknight1.0 nigeria
@@Gideonachas Nah I'm pretty sure the moonwalk is South African. Kamo Mphela was doing years ago, it was originally called Baleka Gijima.
@@21air53which South Africa? Legwork is Nigeria, invented by a guy call Poco Lee
i feel like a phony nigerian because i cannot get these dance moves down 😭 i’m trying too !!!
Luka here, I wanna dance like my cousins literally!!!! Ancestors please help me tomorrow at the Afrobeats festival 😂😂😂 Thank you for helping my ancestors make it over to create me. Africa 💛💛💛💛💛
I am coming back here every day, this is my exercise! Squats where?, those foot movements...
I've never felt so embarrassed of myself this much 😅... Dance is an art and it's beautiful
Wait!! Can you make a tutorial of that tutorial..😲 My feet tingle when I do these legwork ..
😂😂😂😂🙌🏾
Lol 🤣
This is the funniest comment I've ever read 😂
I love Nifé. She's an amazing dancer🔥
Yaaaaa she is...good dance moves
I always enjoy watching her😍😍
Not just good dancer she's beautiful aslo 💯
The thing that pains me is the fact that we didn't get to practice any of our moves at functions in 2020
Right!!!
Exactly
Please I can’t do the moonwalk to save my life 😭🤣
Thank you so much I learned the moves! It took me approximately 1 month practicing everyday! The hardest one was the cross over and it took a bit longer. I did it really slow, then I got to a medium pace, and one day I was playing a fast African song and I started going faster and actually did it on the beat at full speed 💃🏾 I’ve danced all my life, including jazz ballet as a child, more as a bellydancer and bellydance instructor, which has more isolated moves.
Thanks for this! I need to be patient... I hope to have the same results as you ☺️☺️
How are you now?
Not me watching a lot of Afro dance tutorials coz I’m mixed and disconnected from my African roots... anyways I still can’t dance
Dont beat yourself up about it girl not every black/African person can dance like that naturally too. Otherwise there would be none of these videos lmao
I just Love How you teach Every Move. I can now do the Crossover Legwork which was the only difficult thing for me to pull off..... But u made it pretty easy to learn. Thank you ❤️
I am an Asian but i just love African dance💃 and damn its hard 😀
Watched this while laying on the sofa and reading the comments . I had a great tym
That move at 5:06 is 🔥🔥🔥
I'm not from Africa but I still feel African! Love Afro dance so much! Thanks for this great tutorial :)
48 year old overweight stiff Jamaican here. Love Ampiano so I need the moves!
I'm going to practice this every other day. I have to know how to dance!
Same
Can you dance yet? Lol I can’t dance yet
@@kevincharlesaint8936 Not yet lol. I'll start practising again😂
Okay good luck lol, I just need to be ready for my wedding then idc anymore 😂
@@gracek8849 lol all this dance you don’t need to learn just listen to the music or the dancing videos . Shameless people can learn dancing very quickly
I feel you every time I see you I just love ur energy man🖤🖤
The Crossover is so hard I LEARNT IT FINALLY thank you Nifè
I love African dancing
Im an Indian and I'm in love with these dances❤❤I LOVE AFRICA 🌍
This was the most helpful and simple video for me. I’m American and I really didn’t know a lot of African styled moves !!!! Thank you!!!
You're a great teacher, great dance too.
Eu amo os seus tutorias e estão a me ajudar imenso a aprender movimentos que eu achava muito difíceis mas graças aos teus tutorias estou ater muita facilidade em executar los na perfeição

I love you girl. Yo taught me all the dance I know. Then introduced me to loving south African dance . Especially amapiano. Now I even love it more than west African.

I don't believe even that's idea isn't Truth 🤣
Meeee
"I'll tell you a secret. Something they don't teach you in your temple. The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again."
@@ryanjohnson7548 Its not Gods. If your a Christian(like me), there is only one God, that is God our heavenly father.
@@urarakaochaco9684Yea I took social studies I'm aware of that teaching
I LOVE your tutorials
The only thing that is always driving me nuts is... why isn’t the video mirrored?
Love your energy and great instructor!!! I do a variation of but mostly just what my body feels so can't wait to add the more authentic steps. Thank u.
I clapped like a child when I did it with music 🎉😂
I feel like a freind teach me thanks
Been learning the legwork crossover for months now and still cant get the count right
keep trying, it will click eventually, watch different tutorials aswell, sometimes a different person can explain it better
My dear we are on the boat. My body can't just sync with the movements
I’m with you. I’ve been trying to do this up to the point where it’s become frustrating lol. But not giving up!
Homer Simpson: you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is.. never try 😁

Hello 🤗
Unrelated, but I love language and accents. And the way black/African folks sound with the British accent is so dope. I love it.
saving this to my dance playlist after doing the first two and watching the next two lol I'll perfect them with time lol
