Do not change this unless it's broken. The little filament could break, very rare. Take it out about every 2 or 3 months, and clean it. You can use break clean, but that a bit of a film that attracts soot. Better is an electrical cleaner or starting fluid. Let it dry, it only takes about a minute, then reinstall. I've had the same IIMAP sensor for years. I carry an extra in case something happens on the road. Don't let anyone tell that it can't be cleaned.

I am trying to confirm that the sensor you removed that has an obvious thermistor also has a pressure transducer built into it since the plug has 4 wires.

I had a hard time getting my new one seated had to tap it down with a hammer afterwards I got a boost code. I'm guessing tapping it with hammer may have damaged the bulb cause it was shrunk and bent looking..

What is the purpose of replacing it? What benefits? It says you change it every 300k miles. What kind of codes/faults would we get if not replaced on time?

Where would this sensor be on a 2012 cm2250?

Can I change the low coolant sensor, or will I have to replace the complete? If so, how?

    What does it affect?

Look up EGR tune up with Rawze. He explains the three main sensors to clean/replace that affects the DPF system. The IMAP sensor, shown here, the Delta P sensor, and Exhaust Back Pressure sensor. Doser injector as well.

mackonetime I changed the IMAP at approximately 350K. This is going from memory though. I usually try to change it around 300K.
