a true self-fulfilling prophecy: by attempting to confront (what they see as) Tiran-Arafel (Desmond), Valya and Tula will create the real Tiran-Arafel (Lila)
or by attempting to make sure they are never powerless again and they make plans for the kwisatz haderach, and in return get Paul, and his son Leto, who were both also born twice, once in blood, and once in spice !
I think Lila will come back but will not be Lila anymore but an abomination taken over by her grand mother or maybe, and that is a big maybe , taken over by the A.I Tula is using to bring her back and that A.i tried to destroy the sisterhood.
I was really thinking that she was going to be possessed during the spice agony. I really did think that she was going to be possessed by her grandmother. Because accessing other memory is very dangerous and you run the risk of being possessed the reason why Reverend mothers do not become possessed by the memories is because their personality is very dominant. Is that personality that has to fight through the other personalities. But because she was so young I thought instantly yeah she's going to be possessed. She's going to be possessed by the first Reverend mother's daughter. And start doing stuff within the organization but now that it's being overseen by an AI and they're trying to use pseudoscience. To bring her back I think she's definitely going to be possessed I honestly thought that she was going to take her blood and stuff and make a copy of Lila
Fantastic theory. Fascinating. They could do something like that. At the very least others could blame AI for the possession when really the spice is to blame for awakening genetic memory.
A.I taking over a body would require its own series ... They would never do it. Likely a grandmother manifesting and taking over her body half the time ... Then carrying out a revenge that leads to her death ... A tidy closed loop.
Great summary. I think this show has done a great job of balancing. following the books with creating a good visual narrative. The changes from the book do make sense for narrative purposes. I am happy to see a lot of the plot lines from the books get cut out.
Lila isn't going to be a navigator. She'll be abomination. The Guild will be introduced next season, or in Dune 3, and they're establishing how spice can be used.
How was Desmond Hart able to kill the Emperor Javicco Corrino's truth sayer Kasha Jinjo, who was in planet Wallach XI, across time and space while he himself was in the Imperial Palace of planet Kaitain of house Corrino?
I don't agree about the whole guild navigator idea though I suspect that there may be more likely they will have a Bene Gesserit who is highly prescient who may be intergrated into the Bene Gesserit's master plan.
It's gonna be dortea that returns in Lila body and that she when we'll get to be split in the sisterhood from the books or they'll Have Lila play that role
So far Dune Prophecy: has changes within changes within changes. So many twists and turns, in fact, that the war against the machines, the Butlerian Jihad, and the very origin of the Sisterhood of Dune in planet Rossak, aren't even key to the evil Harkonnen sisters mission to destroy the Atreides. Much better to watch the show as a free adaptation of the long Atreides-Harkonnen conflict than a depiction of the Duneverse as a whole, for fun's sake. If somehow sister Lila ends up transforming into a prescient time and space navigator by Tula Harkonnen in Dune prophecy, I wouldn't be surprised now.
Brian took an epic saga and turned it into a mess of concepts that sometimes contradict Frank’s work. Of course some people will feel they’re too much removed from the original universe and themes.
“Cersei Lannister: I shall wear this bruise like a badge of honor.
Robert Baratheon: Wear it in silence, or I'll honor you again.”
Missing G.O.T
Lila is the counter to Desmond; she is going to be born twice- in blood and now in spice inside the cocoon (the machine) she is in.
I agree. I thought this and wondered why no one else had. Tulla will have wrought this.
the fact they have a thinking machine to begin with. Lord!
Yes, I had the same impression! If Lila wakes up from spice, and we've seen from next episode's trailer that she does, she will also fit the reckoning
a true self-fulfilling prophecy: by attempting to confront (what they see as) Tiran-Arafel (Desmond), Valya and Tula will create the real Tiran-Arafel (Lila)
that was my thinking .

That’s interesting…
Great theory. I would enjoy this playing out!

Very interesting analysis, though I kind of doubt Lila will transform into a Guild navigator.
Really enjoyed the series so far. Been a great fan of the original books but also enjoyed the prequel from Brian Herbert.Hope they do a second season!

We can now be officially scared of sweet Tula.
Loving these videos. Have to be honest though - the most ANNOYING thing is how he pronounces Villeneuve…can someone please help the guy 😂🤦🏻♂️
I don't fully agree that Desmond is the prophesied one born in blood and then in spice. That's probably Lila, no?
Lila isn't going to be a navigator. She'll be abomination. The Guild will be introduced next season, or in Dune 3, and they're establishing how spice can be used.
Really nicely done!
The show is trying to make Valya too grey. They need to learn from the Penguin. If she's evil let her be evil.
It's working for me. I like how she's got character depth and complexity.
No one is ever truly evil or good. You can be more of one than the other, or both at the same time.
“Bros before hoes” is so 20th century. “Sisterhood above all”!!😅

My money is on nanobots
Or one of the Acolytes, some think Jen. But the BG can filter poisons with their bodies. So yeah, nanobots, I like that idea.
Or she could become an abomination, and not the one who comes back...

I appreciate the backstreet between the books and the show. The music in the background of the story is distracting.
that's just a Raw Danger save point.
Actress young tula is so beautiful
bit predictable, the young girl will return as a abomination of the murdered sister to fulfill the prophecy
Is p Diddy going to make a cameo with his baby oil 😅
Weak and uninteresting storyline!
Lovin the show so far.......can't understand the whining coming from some other YT channels.
"Villa-new-ave"?
I'd honestly say the haters of Brian Herbert's books are a vocal less than half of fans
Brian took an epic saga and turned it into a mess of concepts that sometimes contradict Frank’s work. Of course some people will feel they’re too much removed from the original universe and themes.
I loved this channel until the AI narrator took over. Bring back the humans please.
This is leagues ahead of The Acolyte.
First
Second:(
This show is trash in every way and made everything cool about the dune movies into lame dumb garbage that was discovered or occurred on convenience
Disney fan
I love it
This show is great.
