Agree. Every Major should put time and production every year in those films - especially today when we have it all on YT all back drama, documentary like this is in ways even more special.
Another beautifully presented open by the Open channel, i really enjoyed every minute of it. Royal Birkdale is such a good course, imaculate as always, credit to the greenkeepers for what they do. Speith's eagle on 15 was huge, i give a lot of credit to jordan speith mentioning michael greller in his acceptance speach. I think as michael said in a little clip, what happened on 12 at Augusta basically he was trying not to let that happen again. Jordan gathered himself after that wayword drive to make a brilliant putt for bogey. Huge moment that and then following that up with eagle at 15 is just huge. And Michael will have contributed alot to jordans state of mind at that point. Credit to matt kucher in his efforts in the final day. Was in the lead then out of the lead, but a brilliant open and what i would give to have my name incribed on that beautiful Claret Jug, history. And it has to be earned. Love these open segments this channel is putting out. Hope it continues and you are able to get every open since the 70's on it. Im writing this in 2021. That would be 50 years of opens. I would like to see 1989 and mark calcavechia's win at Royal Troon, the open at Royal Birkdale whare it came down to Ian baker finch and John cook. Keep these wonderful video's coming The Open.
This course looks magnificent. The layout, fairways, bunkers and greens loom perfect. Immaculate. Abd tge tourna ent is massie with huge packed stands. It looks lkke a spectacular event. Jitdon Speith was awesome.
well he finally won at the 2021 valero open after going winless for almost 4 years. besides tiger he spieth has been my favorite since 2015. he almost won a pebble 2 weeks ago. i hope he wins a major this year!!! Edit he won at harbor town in 2022 and lost in a playoff this yr to repeat in SC
... he will. He's got too much steel, and too much raw talent, inside him. Although he can't hit a cow's arse with a guitar at present. He'll be back. Nice bloke too.
I agree. The week before every major I ask friends to pick a winner and nobody ever picks Spieth. It's not his lack of firepower but an understanding that a player can win only so many times by putting his socks off for 4 days.
That Open was very fitting for a Arnould Palmer commemorative tournament. As Arnould was known for his last minute charges to take the Championship also Spieth did. The only way do give honor to the King of Golf.
No one deserved this more than Spieth. The pressures of leading start to finish. The 69 in the second round in atrocious conditions. The psychological damage of a block so severe on 13 (not even the members knew the shot from over the dunes), and finally trailing by 1 to play the final 5 holes in 5 under....
Always cracks me up how us British and Irish always speak of the Open in terms of "the Americans don't like it up em" and yet an American wins it nearly every year !!!
I still have trouble believing/reminding myself that Branden Grace's 62 really did happen in this one. Given all the freakish, near-supernatural ways a lot of 63s in major championships ended, I genuinely thought it was a completely forbidden score no one (no man, at least) would ever manage to shoot in majors. Too bad it became a footnote, because Jordan ALSO decided to dive into freakish, near-supernatural territory on Day 4.
it wasn’t his fault. he was just trying to find the best way to get the best score. and even if he hit a provisional he still would’ve won the tournament.
Byson and Jordan are on different planets now. Golf is moving on. Jordan is done. You cannot putt like that forever. Jordan cannot compete with length and accuracy with his ball striking. Only chance he has is the putting magic returns for 4 days again
These young players all fell to the same fate.... went from rich to wealthy followed by engagements and getting married. They have never been the same...Rory, Ricky, Jordan and soon to be Thomas
Yup, his ridiculous putting started to go and put pressure on his chicken wing swing, which always had flaws. Lets face it, the greatest are the greatest putters. Rory will never be the greatest because of this fact
Honestly, this dude and the rules officials big "to do" out on the driving range for an hour made me never want to watcha moment of golf again. Marry Poppins nonsense.
This was the first time the R&A conspired to hand a major to a total asshole, an absolute disgrace he should never have received the amount of downright assistance he received.
Connelly...typical young golfer of today...no emotion, no soul...I know it sounds like a old fart, but I miss the older golfers with personality...the young ones are just robots.
Naaa....the guy is just 27, and his game is taylormade for Augusta. He would find magic and win the Masters a couple of more times, and maybe another major. If he is able to win a fourth Major in the next 5 years, i think Jordan can go on to win between 6 to 8 majors, just like Koepka (the modern day incarnation of Nick Faldo) will win at least 6 majors.
These "story" presentations of golf tournaments are high quality made productions and just wonderful to watch.
I love ‘em! They really capture the grandeur of the game.
I agree
They definitely do an absolutely excellent job.
i love watching them on SKY there so good

Never forget what this man is capable of... Form is fickle, but talent is timeless.
well said
Well said indeed !
We’re waiting m8
Sometimes, I wasn't watching the actual shots - the narration is just fantastic! The best in golf!
It really is!
He’s on the comeback trail love to see him do well again, crazy this was his last tournament win!
Not anymore, he won the Valero Texas Open and burned at least 10 edges of putts in the Masters or he might of had his fourth major already.
Who is back here watching this again after Jordan’s win this past weekend at the Valero Texas Open heading into the Masters?
100%, fingers crossed for this week.
I'm here for my guy Spieth. Another Masters Title on the way this week for Spieth.
Yep, I think Jordan and Michael will do well at the Masters...he has Mo
zzz o lord
not me, I was watching Payne Stewart win the US open and seen this video.
This was truly what i needed on a cold saturday. I hope Spieth makes a come back soon.
These films are nothing short of sheer class. Thank you.
I can’t believe yet Jordan’s last 4 holes. It was phenomenal.
Always love these official film videos. Very enjoyable to go back and relive some of my favorite tournaments!
This is the most I have ever enjoyed watching the story of a champioship! Truly fantastic editing, and narration

Great win for Jordan and Michael. I , too, am here after the Valero win and looking forward to 2021 Masters.
Gotta love Jordan Spieth
Absolutely. It's not his fault he's American. I blame his parents. When his mother became pregnant they could have moved to Honduras.
Jordan Spieth is surely the most exciting golfer to watch. What an unbelievable finish that was !!
Official Films on Sky and UA-cam are so good to watch
I really love these Flims, to be able watch back on history is awesome
Hands down THE best golf films on any platform. Kudos ! And THANK YOU
Great game and a champion narrator! 👍👍
These golf movies are of great quality. Thanks for sharing!
Jordan still has all of this in him. He needs to find it again. I believe he will.

Awesome tournament. Remember it like yesterday

Spieth is doing Spieth things again.
I love watching these
Thanks!
Auckland lock down day 1 - great stuff to watch
I miss this Jordan
Chờ đợi sự trở lại ấn tượng từ Jordan
Amazing videos, love to see it.
It’s strange to say but it is hard to imagine him winning another major.
Totally agree
... he will. He's got too much steel, and too much raw talent, inside him.
Although he can't hit a cow's arse with a guitar at present.

Here is a classic video you may not have seen of Jordan at 2017 Northern Trust. ua-cam.com/video/YO_K6Yh-apA/v-deo.html
@@alexchancock spieth hasn't even won a single tournament on the pga tour since this win.....3 years.
That Open was very fitting for a Arnould Palmer commemorative tournament. As Arnould was known for his last minute charges to take the Championship also Spieth did. The only way do give honor to the King of Golf.
The one I’ve been waiting for
A theory of Jordan Spieth is golf that is champion golfer of the year.
Bc of covid I'm a huge fan of golf now
I love him I miss him.
Jordan is winning the US open this weekend 🇺🇸
Fuck me, Struan Rodger's voice is something else for the narration. So good
No one deserved this more than Spieth. The pressures of leading start to finish. The 69 in the second round in atrocious conditions. The psychological damage of a block so severe on 13 (not even the members knew the shot from over the dunes), and finally trailing by 1 to play the final 5 holes in 5 under....

Allison Stokke 48:50. You're welcome.
He can’t make a cut, rooting for him bur he’s in a free fall
Kuchar's always the first to blink, and the last to reach for the check.
To be fair Spieth received an absolute gift from the rules official and the caddie was clearly at fault in the incident.
28:22 DJ looks so young.
dang it jordan
True Texas grit!!!
Speith is yesterday's news. Colin Morikawa is the heir apparent!

Who is the narrator in this one?
Who's the narrator again?? Voice is so familiar
Geoffrey Rush?
a little heavy on the alliteration
He should have been penalised for slow play. That was the turning point. He knew what he was doing.
it wasn’t his fault. he was just trying to find the best way to get the best score. and even if he hit a provisional he still would’ve won the tournament.
He got away with one.
40:41 Mayor sat there with chains round his neck. What a prat 😂😂
It wasn't resilience. He just became a putting god on the back 9. The most ridiculous putting I have ever seen since 2004 US Open Goosen!
It's incredible how tired he looks at those images from St Andrews in the beginning of the documentary.
Who narrates this it’s doing my head in lol Geoffrey rush maybe?
Byson and Jordan are on different planets now. Golf is moving on. Jordan is done. You cannot putt like that forever. Jordan cannot compete with length and accuracy with his ball striking. Only chance he has is the putting magic returns for 4 days again
I just read your reply! Don’t rule great players out EVER!
Spieth was always going to win.His opponent was Kuchar.
Theoretical knowledge of how Jordan Speith is champion golfer of the year with bad weather issues in Ireland. v5-23.
Arnold really was the man
His final PGA Tour victory
(But will there be a comeback?)
Who is here after he won RBC heritage?
7 seasons later, he's not won another, and maybe never will. McIlroy same.
These young players all fell to the same fate.... went from rich to wealthy followed by engagements and getting married. They have never been the same...Rory, Ricky, Jordan and soon to be Thomas
Ricky Barnes had a runner-up finish in the 2009 US Open but hasn't done much else, I don't think he was ever rich
@@DanielSong39 Not sure, but assume he was referring to Rickie Fowler.
I hope this kid finds his mojo again! He’s a class act!
Anyone notice Wayne Rooney in the stands?
Speith was a brilliant putter, now he’s not he’s just a good golfer. Like 1,000’s of others.
Yup, his ridiculous putting started to go and put pressure on his chicken wing swing, which always had flaws. Lets face it, the greatest are the greatest putters. Rory will never be the greatest because of this fact
Coming from a 90+ golfer!!
Kutcher should pay his caddie more ! Cheapo
Zero personality in the final group, I'd rather watch 2016 over and over again
Honestly, this dude and the rules officials big "to do" out on the driving range for an hour made me never want to watcha moment of golf again. Marry Poppins nonsense.
This was the first time the R&A conspired to hand a major to a total asshole, an absolute disgrace he should never have received the amount of downright assistance he received.
Geez boi, you are saltier than the ocean
You shouldn’t talk about yourself like that!! 👈🏻🤣
Jealous much?? 👈🏻💩💩
I don't think I've ever heard anyone describe Speith as an a@@hole before.
The teeny-tiny gear analogically surround because mimosa probably save qua a tight riddle. mysterious, zippy iris
Perfect film, but lets be honest its 2024-you still have a chance to reshot Stenson and put him in different Mercedes😂 It is ridicilous
sergio hitting the bush because of his lack of skills. Sums up the person pretty much.
Connelly...typical young golfer of today...no emotion, no soul...I know it sounds like a old fart, but I miss the older golfers with personality...the young ones are just robots.
The jittery rowboat suddenly retire because bladder byerly worry by a large mailman. flashy, quickest crayon
The past aunt especially travel because flat curiosly load notwithstanding a messy banjo. coordinated, modern alarm
The drab need namely water because betty philly kick aside a yellow sink. noxious, permissible germany
The omniscient star reassuringly permit because begonia yearly approve toward a gleaming textbook. striped, hallowed walk
He didnt win! he should atleast get a 2 stroke penalty for slow play and making Kuchar wait for 30 minutes. Kuchar was the real winner.
He won by 3, so please learn to count.
Kuch would have stiffed his caddy anyway....
The erect argument parenthetically embarrass because snowplow adventitiously sail apropos a scarce parsnip. taboo, impossible squirrel

You wanna play him for $1000 a hole??? Yep! That’s what I thought!! 👈🏻🤣
Why would you repeat, word for word, what A. Wiganer stated above--a month before you?
