- Overall Review 8 out of 10 points. I was not paid nor given anything to do this review. I bought the tent at full price.
Positives: Strong and durable tent material/strong zippers/double stitches/excellent height (I'm six ft four inches tall and could still stand completely upright inside/about 7 feet wide, deep and high - just about a perfect square/good windows with open and shut options/one person can set up/appears waterproof - it rained first night using, no water or moisture leaking or inside tent the next morning (see negative also).
Negatives: Rain Water can accumulate on the tent roof because it is flat. Be sure to keep taut using the two upper poles (they go horizontally to vehicle) across both top and bottom of tent - four poles total). /This tent would not do well in moderate or high winds because sides are straight up 90 degrees. If anchored well it will not be a serious problem unless gusts are over 30-35mph./Tent has poor seal desgin at bottom against back of vehicle corners - some effort innovation will have to be made if wanting a tight seal there on larger vehicles.
Notes: Comes with patch kit - small round ones and yellow strips (one sticky side) which can be used folded at seams. Also comes with a black tarp extra cover for roof. I did not use that because it didn't look like rain when I hit the sack.
Note also: This tent is good to use on a side of a van if there is a sliding side door. In this video, I used it on the back. Fine for most SUVs.

Do you think this could also be hooked up to a ford transit?
Yes, ...it will be slightly lower than the top of the van but the sleeve is large enough to wrap up around it.

Actually it wasn't well thought out at all. I shot this three years ago, and had no plans to post it. But I changed my mind and posted it now, because for the last three years it's been a great tent. Used it in several national parks. But regarding the idea that the video was well thought out is entirely false. Just threw it together last week. I'm not into image, and impressing people. I just tell it like it is.😊
