Juicy is loved for the lyrics. Production wise its nearly identical to its sample "Juicy Fruit" from Mtume. Gin and Juice uses two samples (there's a video of someone mixing them together and showing all the sample used on doggystyle and how Dre flipped them) and still changes the overall sound of the record. Add in the pouring up and other audio touches to the final version of the song and its a crime to make it lose to a song Puffy barely even touched once he pulled it out the crate.

Gin and Juice uses two samples (there's a video of someone mixing them together and showing all the sample used on doggystyle and how Dre flipped them) and still changes the overall sound of the record. Add in the pouring up and other audio touches to the final version of the song and its a crime to make it lose to a song Puffy barely even touched once he pulled it out the crate.
