There is something satisfying about watching these farmers getting it done. I grew up on a cattle ranch and farmers and ranchers are the heartbeat of our country 🇺🇸
Hi laura Heres some real wise advice never fill a propane tank the way you did especially on that model forklift ive used that model many times myself . what you do is remove the tank leave it standing upright then refill it because even if you disconnect the supply line to the forklift you still have a very good source of spark or ignition coming from the forklift battery . yes its a pain in the butt to remove the tank but safety is important on a farm on a construction site .
@@JasonHam41 I love all things UK. Thank You for the good ways of life you all have passed on to us over here. We will pay you back for the tea we poured in Boston Harbor some day!
Happy Sunday!! Just so you're aware with all the negative things to come out of 2020, be proud that your channel is a great positive of 2020, thank you and Grant for sharing the adventure. 😎
Nice video this way. Nice to see the crops half after seeding, nice to see the full grown corn plants👍 So not yet harvest, but pretty much everything including preparing for seeding and filling up tanks and so on. So what crop are you planning to sow? Hope the combine gets repaired quickly, but as you said fixing that bearing may take some time, will be done👌👍
You should do another Q/A video like you did early on. Doesn't have to be live or anything. With your wedding coming up tho, and harvest it's a great opportunity.
Hello from Prince Edward Island, Canada. It’s Canadian Thanksgiving weekend here, windy and cold. I stumbled upon your channel by chance and absolutely love it. P. E.I. Is known here in Canada as “ Canada’s Million Acre Farm”. Potato harvest is underway now. Keep the fantastic videos coming, all the best for your upcoming cornfield harvest, and of course your wedding this December. Can’t wait for the next video. Cheers for now, Chris D.
Your channel has given me a whole new perspective of what it takes to farm and also the kind people. With the whole trump thing, I think rural people have taken on a different image lately and viewed as hateful people by many people in cities. This shows the good side of rural America.
Never a dull moment with Laura on the farm. FYI: Since the sixteenth century, the word *Farm* has meant *agricultural land*. The word farm comes from the Latin word, firma, which means an unchanging payment. Experts say the earliest meaning of the English word farm was a yearly payment made as a tax or rent. Farmers in early England did not own their land. And now you. Da dat da.
Again I want to say thank you for bringing our frosted flakes to us. You are a real treat to watch your video's while having breakfast. A very informative and interesting one at that. I also see hamburger on my menu. Outstanding job young lady. Well done.
bummer bout your notso harvest but hey...impressive skills machinewise to get the other stuff done. Is your fields of corn for feed? I might be retired but I like your job...kudos and well done!
Was that rye you loaded in the drill? Have you seen the video on the CLAAS Lexion combine that did 62K bushels of corn in Illinois in 12 hours? I don’t know if it has a massage chair, but it moves some serious grain!
Laura you are amazing girl driving everything on the farm especially a woman my hat is off to you I love your channel and I love what you do it's amazing to see that you're not afraid to do anything and get your hands dirty
Helped to fix a grain combine after it had picked up a broken off buster tine with a low table. The tine managed to travel through the machine until it got to the chopper, where it smashed a good proportion of the blades. When it came up the track, it was visibly vibrating, and the farmer got out and was almost dizzy from the vibration. We removed all the broken blades and re-arranged the other blades to re-create some balance on the chopper shaft so that the farmer could get back to work harvesting.
Do you guys grow milo? When I grew up on the farm, milo caused my allergies to get very bad and is the reason I moved away and never looked back. Watching y’all from Playa del Carmen on vacation. By the way I could put that ice chest to good use, to pot cut up watermelon 🍉 for the grands on picnics.
On a 2,000 acre farm the x9 would not be a smart investment. Unless they plant to harvest for a lot of other people too. Still have to work on our John Deere’s every year as much as our Case and New Holland’s
Your smile brighten up everyone's day.
Even though your not Harvesting there seams plenty things to Do!! 👍👊

Woow!! Manejas cualquier máquina!! Muy trabajadora!!
I wish all kids in America could do half the work that you do each day. Awesome as usual. :)
I think she has just about the warmest smile I've ever seen, Grant is a lucky man!
Another great video Laura! Even if no harvesting, there is still a lot to do around the farm. Never a dull day. Thanks for the ride along!
I like how you can remember names of your viewers, along with everything else.
Hi Grant!
Another awesome video. I always love videos where you are working on the farm and Grant, your dad and any of your siblings.
I am an Italian farmer and I always follow this videoblog. Wonderful !!!
It's amazing how much equipment it takes to operate a large farm. It only takes one lovely lady, many pieces of equipment.
The sigh from Grant at 5:25 when he notice she doesn't write his name, good one xD
Harvest or no harvest still one of the best things on UA-cam!;-)

Enjoyed the video. Congrats on 70k we'll deserved.
Despite the combine failure... Looks like it was a good, productive day. Have a great week!

Boy, does it Ever look like Fall now 😱🍂🌾🍁
Gal you work harder then most men I know keep up the good work sweetie love your vids
The cattle eat just the greens or do they eat the radishes and turnips?
You should do another Q/A video like you did early on. Doesn't have to be live or anything. With your wedding coming up tho, and harvest it's a great opportunity.
What is the covercrop going to be? If you decide to plant any thing?
It's unbelievable, they always break down when you need them the most...
We fed ear picked corn to pigs... and my grandmother fed "3 big ears" to her mule every day- kept them "bowl fat"...

5:14 Laura completely missed the offer of Grants combine.

Were you raised by Hotforwords?
oh just quit it Nope. Just decided to see where the word originated from, and share the info. That’s it.
I like Grant he seems like the perfect match for you :-)
I’m convinced that the same people go thru UA-cam and intentionally give a thumbs down on everything
Good job 👍👍👍🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🚜🚜🚜🛻🛻
You have such a beautiful head of hair, I'm glad it didn't get entangled in the corn cobs while you were walking through the pumpkin patch! 😛
@Dennis B Alfred E. Neuman thanks thee! 😛
@Dennis B Cool! 👍
I tried but could not cross a course cross cow across a crowded cow crossing, 😎

Hit the hay gurl!! Get that shit harvested. 😬
Grant is the luckiest person I know!!! You’re an amazing woman you rock!
Pretty impressive work ethic there - bad luck about the combine needing repair, but I like how you found lots of other useful things to do instead!
Nice video. Greetings from Poland😉
I can tell that this wasn't the 1st time that Grant hopped a ride on the run
Glad to see and hear you have good taste in pickups. Nothing better than a heavy duty Chevy.
bummer bout your notso harvest but hey...impressive skills machinewise to get the other stuff done. Is your fields of corn for feed? I might be retired but I like your job...kudos and well done!
No harvest today, but definitely a teachable video! Good job! Making lemonade out of lemons 🍋 😉❤️

Hello hope you are doing great
You must’ve read my comment about wearing gloves. Lol, everything but harvesting. Always enjoyable to watch. It still counts as farming.
Laura you are amazing girl driving everything on the farm especially a woman my hat is off to you I love your channel and I love what you do it's amazing to see that you're not afraid to do anything and get your hands dirty
You needed one more comment to get 200 on here.
You're doing a great job with video production. Fairly nee sub here.
Congratulations for 70k in 5 months 👍👍💪💪
I’m so glad you got to see this 👍👍
I can see that I have never seen in the farm..wow very good job 👏👏
Laura, haven't seen all the vids, what are you studying in school, and what is the major,
the minors, and the half notes 🎶🤔
To get Laura's corn harvested full have to get the new big green machine of Grant's to geter done.

Well maybe harvest next video . Good stuff .
I love those sorts of days at work where it’s spontaneous... and maybe if you had a John Deere X9 it wouldn’t have broken down 😂😂😂 typical case 😂😂😂
On a 2,000 acre farm the x9 would not be a smart investment. Unless they plant to harvest for a lot of other people too. Still have to work on our John Deere’s every year as much as our Case and New Holland’s
