In 2017 Justin Hunte moderated the Recording Academy's panel on The Health Of Hip Hop which featured Dr. Reef Karim, psychiatrist and human behavior expert; Shanti Das, urban music executive and founder of Silence the Shame; GRAMMY nominees Vic Mensa and Charlie Wilson, and five-time GRAMMY winner Lalah Hathaway. Later that year, he participated in a debate at the prestigious Oxford Union on whether Kanye West is more relevant than William Shakespeare.
Hunte has been the centerpiece of digital campaigns for Lexus, Honda, Brisk, and Simple Mobile and has hosted concerts and panels nationwide.
A graduate of Wofford College, Hunte spent 5 years working in investment banking at Banc Of America/Merrill Lynch and has covered music, politics, and culture for numerous publications.

Kanye took the "all publicity is good publicity" thing to a new level and we always fall for it
Kanye has profited off of playing the victim versus being a triumphant. He lost his mother and before that, had a near death experience. If anything, it's supposed to make him"Stronger". However, he's chosen to make situations worse for himself. I find it strange that he used Stacey Dash for "All Falls Down" and how that became their real lives.
This is by far the best take on this scenario I've seen thus far. Continue the phenomenal content and pushing the conversation forward.

Every time Kanye says something this bold in such an unapologetic manner, It makes me think of the hook for Can't Tell Me Nothing. He said "Wait til' I get my money right, then they can't tell me nothing, right?". We are currently witnessing the version of Kanye that got his money right.

The thing about Kanye has always been a contrarian to some extent, he values being on the opposite end of popular opinion. The problem is when you value going against the popular than value the quality of the opinion, what do you actually stand for?
