Watching this in March 2021, I believe this is still the best overall travel gimbal in my opinion, DJI failed to make a compact light gimbal with the release of the Ronin SC II
DJI RS2 is actually by far the best travel gimbal. It is smaller than Weebill S when disassembled, very light, it has the best controls and the performance is fantastic.
@@TheHybridShooter sorry but you are mistaken, the Weebill S is lighter, is smaller, is cheaper, and yeah these things matter more when comparing to other details, what better performance and controls are you referring to? This needs to be balanced out in the overall benefits vs disadvantages between them, just because you can have better follow focus or new features that people rarely use doesn't mean it is better than having a lighter and smaller gimbal in your backpack hiking for 2 hours.
I am definitely not mistaken, so there is no reason to be sorry. I have both, so I know what I am writing about. RS2 is a lot easier to travel with, also thanks to great carry case which is much smaller than Weebill S case. Especially if you want to carry it in a backpack, it is MUCH easier with RS2 thanks to detachable handle. Regarding the performance and controls, take a look at my RS2 review, especially the touch screen is much more convenient. The weigh difference is negligible thanks to the carbon fiber construction of the RS2. It is more expensive but also a much better gimbal overall.
@@TheHybridShooter I was talking about he RSC2, which is a bit different than the RS2, the RS2 is on another level, is not really comparable to the Weebil S, is way more professional in every way of course. Still my points about size (still is bigger independent if you can detach it or not), weight (~400g heavier) and price (more than double) for me take more relevance. I've seen your review on the RS2. I understand why you would prefer this gimbal instead of course. but yeah my deciding factors are different than yours so it is how it is, thanks for the discussion anyhow, cheers!
You wrote that the Weebill S is still the best travel gimbal. I just wrote that it isn’t, because the RS2 is by far the best travel gimbal, as I have explained. I never wrote anything about RSC2. RS2 is not 400g heavier. You need to pay attention to battery, tripod and mounting plate weight on Weebill S.
Webbill is better gimbal overall, I miss parameter settings a lot on AK2000, so for me it would be worth replacing it, but it depends on how you use it.
I don't know, I would definitely take off the battery grip from X-T3 if you want to use it on a gimbal with heavy lens. It would definitely work without the grip.
Thanks very comprehensive review. I've been waiting for a lightweight gimbal combination for a while. The S and A6600 plus Sigma F1.4 seems to be finally it.
Thank you so much for the great review , but for me i have the same camera Sony A7iii , i am not able to change the ISO , and the other things from the gimbal , even though i am connecting the corect cable , i can only snap a photo , and start a video ,, any tips ? :)
Unfortunately, my only tip is to forget about the remote control on any gimbal, if you use Sony. It is not reliable and it disables OSS in camera, so it is not worth using IMO.
I really like your reviews and comments on cameras, equipment and specifically how functional various equipment especially when recording videos. and i do appreciate that you present your videos in English. but on occasion, especially with technical terms and unique product names it can be hard to understand. I have turned on "auto generate captions" but youtube is also misunderstanding some words. if possible, it would be ideal if you can upload the english captions verbatim so that there is no misunderstanding. thank you for your contribution to the understanding of all this new technology.

I have one of these gimbal and I was wonder if there is a play(movement) when the gimbal is locked for storage??
Yes, there is a bit of play.
@@TheHybridShooter thanks. was worried mine had a fault..
Hi, can we use the Samsung adapter with the included USB C cable for charging? Thanks in advance...
Yes, you can (with included battery charger).
Have you tried it yourself before?
@@beary288 It works with any USB adapter, just the charging speed varies.
Alright thanks for your info
0:34 what so you mean it fits on A4 paper? That the size of it fits within the perimeter of an A4 paper?
Yes.
I have Feiyu AK2000, it it worth replacing mine with this?
Webbill is better gimbal overall, I miss parameter settings a lot on AK2000, so for me it would be worth replacing it, but it depends on how you use it.
You think this could handle the XT3 with battery grip and Sigma 18-35 1.8 adapted?
I don't know, I would definitely take off the battery grip from X-T3 if you want to use it on a gimbal with heavy lens. It would definitely work without the grip.
Thanks very comprehensive review. I've been waiting for a lightweight gimbal combination for a while. The S and A6600 plus Sigma F1.4 seems to be finally it.
Thank you, it is very suitable for that.
@@TheHybridShooter thank you mate.
Hello, how can i find out if it is compatible with Sony A7iii?
Depends on the lens.
@@TheHybridShooter i have sony lenses and a sigma 16mm
Wich one in the price range weebil s or moza aircross 2?
I prefer Weebill S as I have said in the video.
What happens when the Tamron is extended to 75mm?
It would be ideal to rebalance the gimbal, although it will work unbalanced.
You're welcome, unfortunately, that would be very time consuming, so I am not able to do that.
can you power the camera via one of the USB-C outputs ? (there are two right?) thanks !
Yes, you can.
@@TheHybridShooter as, a BMPCC4K?
@@victorblondel1902 It can charge it, but I don't recommend that, that will drain the batteries very fast.
I'm planning on getting this.
really good review man
Thank you!
