I really dont know how to put into words how much of an influence this man had on me when i was taking martial arts. I am a 54 year old black man and i took karate for almost seven years when i was a kid back in florida, and i stopped when i was in the 10th grade once i started getting into the girls but that's another story. What made Bruce Lee so amazing to me and others was his style, he moved with the rhythm of a black man and his speed was so sick, so imagine a dojo full of black kids who all wanted to be this Asian icon, not a black icon but an Asian icon. You are a pretty amazing individual when you can influence not one race but all races. RIP master Lee.

Greatness transcends all the stupid issues relating to a person's race.

BLACK PEOPLE ALWAYS MAKE EVERYTHING ABOUT RACE.
I've seen plenty of Black people with no rhythm so I'm not certain why you think that stereotype is true. How about you try making things about the individual, not a race? Funny how you complain that people look at your based on skin color but you make everything about it.

Shame nowadays the Divorce Rate in Hong Kong & China is matching that of the West.
If Bruce was a Computer Programmer; he would be able to single handed-ly Crash the Pentagon Mainframe With leisured Ease; he was that Bright & Capable......

People don't understand what true martial arts means I do I been around seen it and did most of my life it helped out through really tough times in my life when I have given up all hope I ran too martial arts to open my mind and body all around me I seen friends die and addicts and gangs so I stayed to myself and did something started off with just me and my dad training me then he passed away from cancer when I was 12 I went to a couple different sensis it just wasn't the same and so I practiced what I learned and did some of my own techniques and twist but all the inspiration came from this man a true philosopher and martial artist. I've always wondered if my dad is up there now training with him cause that's all he ever wanted to do I think even my mom was jealous of how much he was into him cause that's all he did or talked about. Man what a time it was to be back then training with him and doing all those crazy bruce Lee move. @@juleskireeff4563 I can only say, he was physically phenomenal. I latched on to what I saw of him in the 70's. I started in martial arts at 10. I can do several arts. But really Bruce taught me patience. To study any confrontation. In seconds. Size, weight, and body language. He really made me a better policeman later. I obviously survived that job. Well, plus I am a civilian and military marxman. Bruce Lee could size up an opponent in seconds. In a real fight. That proves true in any occurrence. Better skill. You don't really get a second to survive. You do, what you have learned. I thank Bruce Lee for that. I miss my poster of him on my wall. It was sadly lost in a flood. My inspiration for years, as a kid. But I can still see it, in my mind.

Thing about these scenes is that Bruce was far better than the actual fight choreographing and filming was. You can tell that given a modern stunt team like Jackie Chan or Jet Li used in their day, Bruce would have looked that much better.
It’s such a shame he passed away young. He’d only have been in his 40s in the 80s and by that time the HK industry had the filming and action work down to a science. He could have done so many epic movies.
    Sucks.

I grew up on Bruce Lee, Kung Fu Gold Saturday night movies, Sho Kosugi ninja movies. Game of Death was one of my favorites, but always had a cryptic dark feeling to it and the movie was all over the place and they did the best they could trying to keep continuity to finish the movie (which I completely understand why and what they were up against with Bruce passing away during the movie before finishing) however I think maybe they should remake the movie with its original authenticity without getting too far into today's type of super effects. Maybe have Quentin Tarantino direct and the movie without getting too far off the original message that Bruce was aiming for

I feel like Bruce in his prime would have been a very very strong MMA fighter. The way he studied, researched and trained...I do not doubt that he would have held titles. He isnt just a movie hero to me personally. He was an excellent example of a humanitarian. Ip Man really turned out an excellent fighter. But Bruce's innovation in creating this renowned technique and fight science philosophy and the heart of a lion causes him to stand out in the warrior class.
Donnie Yen, Jet Li and Tony Ja in my humble opinion are this ages excellent examples as well

Now this may not be the very best choreography, it does showcase Ji's talent. In light theta the film was never finished (it was interrupted for filming Enter The Dragon), it does have some really tight fighting moments, especially with Danny Inosanto.

I thought there was no more footage of the fight scenes as Bruce takes on each master of gung fu , as they would find more of the fights recorded & added properly as they should be but now after watvhing this you get to see Bruce's friends in this footage take turns to fight each master but they'd eventually get a beating & Bruce's chsracter would step in...
Another smart thing with each fight with the masters & found his character not doing well while fighting but studies whst they sre doing , even though he knows hell havr to take a few hits but once his chsracter has figured out how each master fights he uses their style along with his to best them...
Its quite amazing that with Bruce's Jeet Kune Do style of fighting you can easily see in Way Of The Dragon along with Enter The Dragon that there was a lot of blocks that also struck their opponent & as Dan Inosanto that while studying & improving Jeet Kune Do with each year that passed & i remember Dan stated that Bruce (as far as he knew) saw Bruce always practicing with students & in movies that that all his blocks doubled as an attack at the same time as he blocked...
    Oh yeah i nearly forgot...
Is it a case of yesrs passing & somehow they find more footage of what was recorded in thr pagoda fights as ive never seen his 2 friends wanting to try at beating a master by informing Bruce's character while hes bren fighting esch master that they want to now try & best the master thry fighting on a certain level...
For decades ive read that all the footage in the Pagoda fight scenes were now added & complete with no more footage , yet every certain amount of years pass & they have found more footage than before yet they always stated that this was now all of the footage , yet somehow every certain amount of years have passed & theyve suddenly found even more , yet they keep saying that is definitely all the scenes yet come out with more as the years pass...
They should stop saying thats the last footage found of what happens in the Pagoda & just change it to that they have found more footage & that this is ongoing & we hope to find more footage of those fights & anything else that happens in the Pagoda scenes but this my opinion & there might be those that disagree with what i have said in my comments...
