Could you please advise whether the Windows 10 OS can be installed in the added SSD harddisk as the Bios cannot detect such SSD.

Of course you can! I think it's because you didn't perform a hard drive partitioning operation that caused the system to not recognize the new hard drive. Don't worry, here is the tutorial for partitioning a new hard drive: drive.google.com/file/d/13wQXjAD-T9RtYg_afNewG7NyMGrTuD65/view?usp=sharing.
