Woh thats intense! I dont have great memory retention and found ttat learning the arpeggio 1 3 5 shapes around the major scale really helped me to picture the triads then extend that into the pentatonic worked for me! It sort of feels like im cheating when i see what this will ad to the picture!! To be able to explain it this way and so well blows my mind! Thank you Charlie!!! 🙏🕊️
Useful lesson in terms of explaining theory and how it unlocks the entire fretboard once mastered (gonna take me a while! 🙈). Lesson completes with cute little demonstration of how it can be used to improvise solos. 🤗
It’s all about triads and inversions. I never learned scale patterns but can find anything off triads. Ie if you know a g is 5R3 at 7th fret , you can find diatonic and pentatonics from there, maybe just my brain
@@jeffpeterson5791 astute observation! That’s a big challenge as a creator…most people aren’t going to put in the work but trying to make content that will get seen by those that will! 🎸🎶🔥🎶🎸

@@jeffpeterson5791 agreed! Triads are the foundation - and once you’ve got them down everything else makes more sense!! Thanks for the comment 🎸🎶🔥
It’s easier to see on a piano, it is useful information. Seems some watch for entertainment not education.

I've got my work cut out for me. I really need to learn the notes all over the fretboard. Thank you, Charlie
