Thanks, I think 1.0 got overlooked because there wasn't much advertising. I've struggled to find info as well to answer questions on how things work so I kinda just play by feel and when stuff feels right I keep doing it.
Thank you for the guide! Not a lot of post 1.0 content or coverage on this game. (Perhaps overshadowed by certain EA failure of a game that just launched…) I was using a different build and it wasn’t feeling that effective. Some awesome build and gameplay knowledge here! Thanks again!
I really don't think there's much audience overlap between Wayfinder and The Veilguard (which is doing fine as a release btw). But since there wasn't much advertising for Wayfinder I don't think many people know about it, or if they do they know it as the failed MMO from 2023 not the singleplayer w/co-op ARPG. I've been enjoying Wayfinder so I'll definitely be making a couple more videos sharing my experiences but it's very hard to find up to date info as a result of the previous MMO version.
I have just started the game recently so I dont know if this as overpowered as it feels with wingrave. when using sword and shield you can have your second melee attack reset your first ability and that in turn reducing the cooldown of all other abilities, you become unkillable since you regenerate so much health. If you normal attack first then hold your heavy attack you will slam the shield into the ground. that trigger your heal effect twice and resets your nr 1 ability that also heals and deals damage, then repeat and you cant die.
This is so confusing. I just hit level 30 and my wingrave's Affinity i can only raise 33 points, i have 15 instinct (yellow) 11 discipline (green) and 7 focus, (purple) Also, under instinct it is phys def, crit rate - ability power - ability power, for discipline it is resilience, weapon power - max health - max health and for focus it is Ability power, max health - weapon power - resilience - max health. Totally different from yours. is that because i use sword and shiled build? And how come i only have 33 points to spen and you got 40? Do you get more points to use if you keep playing him past level 30? Also i dont have near as many talents leveled as you do, So confusing
I spoiled every other character by picking Venomess as my main. She is invincible and murders everything all at once. Wingrave is a good second with his survivability.
I've been playing around with Venomess now and yes she is absurdly good. But definitely a little less beginner friendly. What weapon are you using? I've been trying various daggers so far because I don't like the feel of guns on controller, and the rapid slashes feel great for weaving between her skills.
@@Tenkiei Tooth and Claw, sword and board. I don't block at all, but a hit of the weapon ability on a boss when you've cleared the trash chunks bosses like no other weapon. I just load up the pips before starting the boss and it's a quick clear.
I wish she was a starter character. Working my way to unlocking her. I’m just here to build up Wingrave up to make the journey a pleasant/faster one lol
Runs near flawlessly on my rig. Runs very well on Steam Deck as well. Check your system settings, caches, reboot, delete game and try a reinstall. They are rolling out post launch patches still too. Hope you can get in game soon!
Great video! There's not much people creating content for Wayfinder after the 1.0, so pleasee continue with the wayfinder videos, thanks! =)

Sword and shield is very overpowered in the early game, it's more balanced late game imo.
I just tested this and I'm surprised it works that way. I wonder how much better it is than just finishing out your quick attack combo.
Probably better, but jump attacking is probably even stronger since it lets you jump straight to the heavy finisher.

@@psyberiusblack Tooth and Claw makes pretty much any character OP imo
Having tried this a bit, I can definitely say Venomess feels absurd with Tooth and Claw.
Could not even play this game it would crash and give an error every time I opened it
That's unfortunate :(

@@psyberiusblack did all of that and still nothing. Don’t have the patience so I refunded it. My PC is pretty good I have a 3080.
