1982 EPCOT Center Aerial Press Footage - Converted U-Matic Tape

This footage taken between 9-6-82 to 10-4-82 shows the early years of EPCOT from the air. Amazing quality and lots of great views of attractions, crowd sizes, and how clean the park was upon opening. Enjoy!

What amazing footage. A bare plot of land where the Living Seas was built, Horizons under construction, no Eiffel Tower in France and so much construction going on backstage.

Interesting to see the aerial view where you can see ground broken for "Horizons" but no construction underway of the building yet.
I miss the original EPCOT.

Amazing! It almost hurts to see Horizons being built, knowing its fate. Better to have loved and lost, though

THREE YEARS from start to finish. now how long the 10th rebrand of Test Track take?
"U-Matic Tape wow! lol omg I went to school..broadcasting... interned at a PBS tv station..they all used umatic..i have some Umatic tapes I used for my advanced video production final...Two years later, the world went digital. everything that i learned was completely useless. 😂
that reminds me....i gotta get those converted.
