Hey! Love your content, your blogs really helped me get the courage to apply to LSE!
I was lucky enough to be accepted, so thanks for providing me with that extra push :D
😄
Love your hair sm!!!
Thank you!! 🥰
love the content keep it up!
Thank you! Love yours too :)
Oh you’re back! Hey Suki
Hey! 😊
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Please can you clarify about the graduate visa? I thought it was given for 2 years after masters?
hey do you happen to know the salary range one can expect after doing their masters in media and communications from lse? a range would be really really helpful :))
Hi Suki, I am an incoming one-year LSE master's student (of a different program though) ;-) I find your videos really informative. Is it possible to share your job searching experience in London (eg: timeline, things to prepare for, LSE career centre, etc.)? Much appreciated!
Sure! I’ll make a video on that! Thanks for the suggestion 😊😊
Glad you can stop stressing about jobs applications now!! 🍾
Thanks!! 🥰🥰
michaelmas, lent...etc hey cambridge uses the same jargon
I’m not sure if you’ve answered this before but ad I’m taking a media and comms degree in Loughborough university, I was wondering what tips u may have for people looking for work with a media and comms degree and whether I should take a masters or not. Thank you!
Ahh that’s a great question! I’ll make a video on that soon 😇
thank you sm for the video! so, doing a two year program means having no opportunity to stay in the uk after graduating, did i understand it correctly? i also got an offer for the double degree and now you got me worried haha
and also, if you don’t mind me asking is the visa restriction was the only reason why you changed for a standard media and comm degree?
Hey! It means that you wont be eligible for the graduate route visa and have to get an employer to issue you a skilled worker visa to stay in the UK! So you can still stay but just have one less visa choice :) This website by LSE explains the visa choices quite well: info.lse.ac.uk/current-students/immigration-advice/Working-on-a-visa-in-the-UK
I changed because I got a job secured and at that time I didn't know about the visa restrictions! If I knew about the visa I might have reconsidered but its too late now for me. Hope it helps! :)
@@SukiCheung thank you sm! and good luck with your new endeavours :)
Hi, i am from India. And looking for master related to journalism.
I completed on MA in journalism and mass communication from india with 70%
And i am really afraid about the career options of media studies in UK coz i don't want to work in mainstream media.
So, my question is, if i choose a masters from LSE what are the career options rather than mainstream reporting, and can i pursue ph d in journalism later?
I see... this has been a very common question from my viewers. I will definitely make a video on my career plans and hope I will be able to answer your question!
oh why don't you use the bno visa? thought that can help you stay and work in the uk
I don’t have a BNO! Not eligible for it unfortunately 🥲
Hurray another video
Yes hahaha it’s been awhile! ❤️
@@SukiCheung when is the next video
Hey, what do you mean by office hour?
It’s the time where you can meet with your professors 1 to 1!
