      Now I understand that one time I went to Titan. There was only one way and EVERY CORNER AND CORRIDOR there was 2 or 3 turrets, since I was running to avoid dying from a Jester trying to find the exist. I went throught SO MUCH TURRETS until the jester got me first.
      I swear there was atleast 20 turrets and since I died early, there was probably even more this is crazy

      Hi Wurps, is this info on the wiki somewhere? I had a look at the moon and interior pages but didn't see these trap numbers. Looks right though, Dine is way worse than Rend for turrets!

    The most shocking thing i learned is that coil head is considered power 1 when he is one of if not the most oppressive enemy you have to keep in mind and can't be killed. Even with coordination it guarantees to keep one player hostage in staring contest as you can't just let him run around at mach 5 to backstab and lock your movement at the worst time.

      the fact that coil-heads are 1 and spiders are 3 is wild to me. at least coil-heads are somewhat rare compared to thumpers or whatnot

      same with nutcrackers for some reason, they can be pretty impossible to deal with if they spawn in a group (if you don't have a shotgun already)

      You can "reset" it with the metal doors, which they tend to wait longer in, if you get far enough, they loose you and go on their guarding path so you may pass, still its one of the worst enemy for sure

    Imagine it's your first time on Lethal Company, you launch the base map, seem simple enough, suddenly there's a weird music and the sun seem eclipsed, 1 of your mate get eaten by a Leviathan, 1 other by an eyeless dog, you manage to actually get in the coumpound, there's a firing squad of 4 nutcracker shooting at you

      Nutcracker does spawn in experimentation.
      The chances is low but when it spawn it almost wipe my whole team. 😂

    The fact that killing eyeless dogs frees up more power for new enemies to spawn is just devastating. Imagine going through the trouble of killing dogs, achieving great victory, just for 2 forest keepers to spawn or some shit

      tbh i'd take that trade. radar boosters or even just an aware ship guy can help negate forest keepers. radar booster flashes literally stunlock giants so they become harmless, or if the ship person's paying attention they can just teleport you out if you get grabbed

    Another thing to take into account when comparing rend to titan,
    Titan has a huge map size multiplier of 2.35x while Rend has a measly 1.2x, so the vastly increased loot spawnrates on titan can be deceiving, as you might not even be able to explore a majority of the facility due to its massive size. Pairing this with the already lower loot quality and more dangerous mob spawnrates of titan makes rend the better choice 99% of the time.

      He mentioned in the video that Rend’s 1.2x is deceiving because it’s a mansion. He said that Rend and Dine really doesn’t feel all that small, and I agree with him.

      It can't really be 5%, but I also must contest you lumping thumpers and nutcrackers together in the same percentage when nutcrackers are like 10x more dangerous

      @@Wurps probably is 5% honestly, not many people are actually practicing against these monsters regularly enough to solo them, thumpers are of a similar threat level to a nutcracker to your average player

    As a left wall hugger, I personally enjoy Luigi's mansion. I have also gotten a mansion on assurance once and was very happy to see it. I read it's like a 0.15% or something...

      That can't be right, me and my buddy only have 130 hours combined and we've gotten mansion on experimentation 7 times, assurance 6 times, 2 times on offense... Feels more like a 15% or something

    Been hearing a lot about Rend being the play recently, time to see. For me, assurance is a certified first quota map, and vow is in the bin unless you have a massive lobby and use all the fire exits.

    Assurance is very underrated. Me and my friend always make 500-600 on average as a duo, sometimes trio. We got 900+ once with 3x 140+ bees and we left the forth one out.
    After 3 assurance days, we sold everything for the first quota and made 385 overtime bonus which was our record

    Even in the lower moons I've learned to never underestimate enemy spawn chances when I got haunted by the ghost girl day one on experimentation and proceeded to shit myself and leave.

    I'm happy to see Rend getting the love it deserves.
    My team has had the best luck with Rend by far, Titan is cruel by example. Can't tell you how many times the dogs glitch out on the stairs and just seem to know where everyone is, or when they camp the entrance/exit, or the giants + dogs camping the items we dropped off the edge.

      imo the dogs getting attracted to loot being dropped off makes sense (bc of the noise) but it really hurts when u just exited the building and theres a dog on the same floor as you 😀

    I use the left-wall right-wall strats
    what u can do on rend:
    2 people go main
    2 people go Fire escape
    in each party, one person uses left-wall strats
    and the other person uses right-wall strats
    until eventually main-left meets up with FE-right
    and main-right meets up with FE-left
    this clears out like 90% of the map, some times leave bits in the middle

    I think Titan's map size is kind of a big deal. On its own, that is enough to force you to travel excessively long distances just to get items back to an entrance, to the point that you need a very strong seed (with a favorable fire exit spawn) to realize the potential extra value on most days. Combined with turrets, early spawns, and a large power cap, those large distances also tend to include miniature recreations of hell that you have to go through to get back and forth.
    I'm tempted to say it's on-par with Dine depending on how you rate it. Dine at least has a smaller map, lower chances for Bracken, and no chance for masks. Turret hell is also not guaranteed. It definitely is more likely on Dine than on Titan, but you can roll plenty of seeds with low trap density. Dine is definitely harder than Rend, but I don't think you have to play your ass off nearly as much as you do for Titan to make it highly profitable.

      @@Trattt i actually like mansion more than facility, facility feels too claustrophobic, and theres no room to run away from monsters, except when theres a maze, and mansion maps usually give more loot

    Side note: In my experience, dine is a lot better of a Fire Exit. It is a lot easier to show new people how to get to dine and go up the mountain than showing them to go over the hill then follow the right path when you leave the fire exit. Ive also experienced a lot of Giants holding the valley between the two mountains, making it extremely hard to return to the ship. Either way I love both maps in their own ways

      Rend fire exit takes some practice, but apart from fire exit, it's superior to Dine in every single way.

      @sreeravi25 The practice wasn't hard at all. As I mentioned, it's simple to memorize, slightly hard to show to new people. The giants were the worst part of it. V40 was so bad with giants, almost always a 100% to spawn. For some reason, Giants were also spawn relatively close to the ship and more common onto the mountains on Rend. They would see you miles away and hold that valley like a death spot. Now, after V40 and such as v45, they made the mechanic chance of sight a lot easier. As well as have new ways to get away from Giants such as Radar Booster, it's a lot easier. I would pick Rend over dine as a team coordinator anywhere after V45 and onwards any day of the week now.

    I'm personally a huge fan of Assurance -> March -> Dine, I've frankly had too many runs on the other T3's go sour due to the Masked (especially Titan) to think turrets are an absolute deal-breaker.

      My friends and I use the MaskedEnemyOverhaul (Masked look identical to players) and Skinwalkers (Masked can repeat player VOIP) mods, and we'll still go rend over dine lmao
      Dine in our experience is way worse than rend just because of how much slower you need to move without a flashlight, and because you cant kill turrets

    You should consider using histograms instead or as an extra visual aid. You would be able to see the wealth distribution by value, using bins sizes of around 10. You could also split it in two colors to visualize the amount of heavy and small items per bin.
    Or maybe a histogram of item quantity of said moon. Which would let you visualize how often how many items are present in said moon and one for the total value as well.

    Map size chart is really interesting. Assurance actually seems crazy good value in terms of loot density, as it's small and with a lot of scrap. Of course, that's without looking at scrap quality though

    Just a heads up, the text within those graphs are hard to decipher when watching on a cell phone. You might want to consider changing text Styles so that mobile users can read along, as well. Other than that, great video. I'll probably be using this information on future runs.

    I can confirm that experimentation can in fact be a mansion and my luck is higher if I dont want something from it so I also got the girl on it in solo (its fine I just wanted a gold bar)

      It could be worse, I got 2 nutcrackers and the ghost girl on experimentation (on my 4th run of the game btw). I also got eaten by a giant worm in like 3 seconds of me landing, cus I didnt know what eclipsed did (also on experimentation)

    Very informative video! It’s crazy how the Coil Head is only a 1 in power while you have but two options when it spots you: trap it or LEAVE. Similarly the Jester is only a 3 in power level when the only course of action you can take when it spawns in is to leave the building. Great video, finally a tier list backed up by statistics and without a cringe twitch chat to argue.

    I use the left wall strat, it's much easier/more consistent on mansions. The mazes on bunker maps make retracing my steps very annoying.

      Bunkers are interesting. I've done terminal long enough that I can generally navigate them well as I know what the pieces look like. It's mostly catwalk corridors, big bespoke rooms, and in between these is either a stair room or what my group calls "hashtag hallways". They're always four halls crossing over each other in a # shape, with one of the ends leading into another room, often another hashtag.
      It can still get pretty confusing, but I can navigate bunkers waaaay more easily.

      Funny I have the opposite issue. Maybe it's just cuz I have little experience in the mansions but I get way more lost on those. Typically the bunker maps I'm fine with unless there's a bunch of winding labyrinths and an enemy is making me panic and forget my path.

      @Kait07_ speak for yourself. I find the simplicity of the layout easier to memorize. Mansions are much more open and winding with things hidden behind bookshelves. Memorizing a simple maze structure is very easy for me personally, I just keep in mind the compass direction and the turns I've made. The Mansion can get so confusing trying to memorize the way I memorize, especially without a flashlight, which is how I usually go in.

    I used to not care for rend that much, thinking the outdoor was the most inconvenient out of the expert maps, but as of late I have found it to yeild the most reliable profits. Carrying scrap from main to ship is easier than it first seems, as if at any point a giant pursues you you can just drop all your items and jump into the fire exit ravine. This not only lures it away from the main path making stuff easy to retrieve but also the ravine keeps you safe no matter how slow or present the person at the terminal is.

    Experimentation having a 0.003% chance for a mansion is really funny, because that was the first thing me and my group encountered going into the game blind. We didn’t know how to buy flashlights, just picked Experimentation since it was the first moon, and we went in. We saw dark hallways and assumed that we needed to use the breaker to continue (it was in the top left) and then we broke the lights permanently. In the pitch black, we fumbled around in the dark, trying to decide if we should try to move forward or not. We were then picked off one-by-one by a snare flea that got my friend and a single hoarding bug. We had no idea what we were doing. :)

    It’s always fascinating when a game gets dissected like this, sometimes it can really ruin a game to know all its ins and outs but I think it’s nice to know how balanced the maps are, even maps like offence I think are fine given how easy the walk back to spawn usually is, or match being huge but having many exits

    While a little more difficult than Rend, I felt Dine has been the way to go this update so I'm glad the data seems to match. The fire exit is only beaten by Titan's but even with the turrets it's still way less dangerous than most Titan spawns, and even tho the loot is slightly less the indoor layout is smaller so way higher chance of actually finding ALL the scrap.

      Glad to see another Dine Enjoyer, everybody wants to go to titan but I swear that Rend is a better balance of risk-vs reward. Rend is pretty nice, but Dine's fire exit is SO nice

    Quick PSA. You can use doors as a compass on the Mansion tiles. If a door opens away from you, go into that room as it will be a room closer to main entrance. If it opens towards you, that room will be a room further away/lead you away from main entrance. You CAN'T reverse this to find fire exit though. And there are some times when doors that are in a room and lead to the same room; can trip you up. This strategy is not entirely applicable to facility though. Facility doing the always hug left and always hug right strategy is monumentally more helpful If you want a more in depth explanation. Bread has made a video on it that I would recommend checking out.

    Wall strats work on mansion, but buying the spray can is SO worth it. Dot above a door = exit. Two dots on the side of the door = dead end.
    I have fully cleared Dine/Rend countless times because this really helps your teammates not get lost, and not explore already looted areas. Its why I prefer mansion over bunker currently, even though titan technically has the most loot possible.

    you can do the "hug the wall" strat on mansions, the only time you break away from a wall is with staircases or doors leading to the main entrance area which is not a big deal. one more thing to add is always one door from the main area will have 90% of the map so you know where to go

    Interesting notes on hard moons
    Personally we always stuck with:
    No money: March
    Money: Titan
    If March (or next moon on the list) has bad modifiers:
    March > Offense > Assurance > Vow > the least bad modifier from the above since Experimentation is a waste of time
    I used to dislike March but I think since I watched one of your videos I realized how good it is, 3 fire exits and hives really make the difference. I really don't care about the Giants too much on this map, I never died from one on that Moon and I was chased by it maybe 3 times total here and I always run this moon when I have no money to go to Titan. There are cases where suddenly you have like 2 or 3 giants close to the ship, but generally speaking I noticed they usually spawn very late and especially on the newest patch are just super blind and deaf when you don't sprint. I even had moments where I literally crouch walked under giants and they just didn't notice me.
    Generally Titan is not bad with any of the modifiers, Eclipsed can go wrong really quickly if not careful and Stormy is risky without any lightning rods but generally speaking I just pick up a key and I don't think I ever died to a lightning since (I'm pretty sure random lightning can't struck you if you have something that can get electrified instead)
    I tend to avoid March with Foggy and Stormy, they are manageable but for some reason my friends die or get lost within first 2 minutes with these modifiers on that map so I just avoid it

    Flooded is actually amazing for dine. If you go at the back of the ship and go forward you will see a pipe witha. Fence, if you jump over it and go a bit to the left and scan you already see the main exit.
    This is not only a shortcut, it also is basically not flooded, like, ever. You can easily keep being outside at past 1pm with ease and iirc even further. Once the main entrance is starting to get flooded you will have to go under water to go back the shortcut, however while doing so you can jump to not drown, and it's not very far that deep.
    Very quickly you will return to safety. Furthermore in that shortcut there's bearly ever enemies.
    Further furthermore, if the ship flies down and you immediately run to the back and jump off the ship, you land on a hill right next to the main entrance, so you can literally with all your team enter the main entrance before or right after the ship lands.
    It is NOT a bad map, especially not for flooded, easily one of the best maps for flooded cause you literally can just ignore it and almost treat it like no weather if you use the shortcut.
    If you're unsure what shortcut I'm referring to, it's the shortcut Tholar found.
    Your other points however are correct, I don't have anything to say about that, but I will have to disagree on it being a bad map layout, it's amazing if you know how to use it, and flooded is just straight up a non issue, both for the fire exit and main entrance til very late. The latest I saw was 5pm I believe, but I would have to double check/do some testing for it.
    Turrets I honestly haven't seen that much, I mostly only rber see them on titan and just a few here or there on dine, so I never really had that issue, but I probably just got lucky, I certainly have seen turret spawns on titan that made it impossible even with a ship guy, but so far I was able to traverse Dine even without a ship guy when turrets are around.
    And dogs might as well be no enemy outside that's how much I care about being able to kill them with lightning. They only really get dangerous if you have dogs + a giant or worm, otherwise they are useless on their own. A mild annoyance at best cause you have to be slower.
    Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure masks can't even spawn on dine. That's why I personally, aside from the map being so good, find it much better than rend. Not only is the map better, flooded is a non issue, and the loot, although just very slightly, is better, you also don't have to deal with one of the most annoying enemy in the game that's currently just a gamble on if you killed if you try to kill them with a shovel, and even with a shotgun cause if it hits weird it doesn't one shot them and they grab you.
    For those reasons I feel like Dine is by far the best map personally. And even the fire exit I like more, cause even tho it does have enemies, you're just as quick as you came, which is certainly not the case for rend with hmthat journey you have to go on if you don't have a jetpack.

      You can seem to deal with masked pretty well with counterclockwise reverse orbital sprinting, just sprinting away lets them grab you but they can't turn that well
      The shortcut sounds nice and I'll have to try it if I go there again but flooded was already a non issue due to the fire exit and really the main things I don't like about the map are on the inside, plus the lack of nutcracker spawn rates to generate additional shotguns

      And yeah, the nutcracker spawns being less is definitely a little unfortunate due to how advantageous they are, which is certainly a win for rend, but I personally I prefer the fact that is has the shortcut that makes both fire exit and main exit viable as having two people split up on these is how you get all the loot out of the building.
      I haven't done too many rend runs tho tbh, so I should probably do that to judge better which inside I would prefer. Although I don't mind anything I saw on dine so far, it certainly could be that I would find more success with dine regardless, aside from the additional shotguns you usually get of course.

    As someone who struggles with avoiding giants, Rend is a nightmare. I acknowledge that it is the better map. But I will take my chances leaping into the ship from the 2nd level of the staircase and landing on the ship on Titan over hoping my shit spacial awareness in an endless blizzard gets me to the ship on Rend without getting eaten. Hate giants over literally any monster in Lethal Company. Awesome video, by the way!

    I've seen a Jester on March exactly once. Came with a coil-head too, definitely threw the random group I was with for a spin.
    Also interesting that we rolled that 0.016% of a facility on rend twice during that long run we did. It's actually a really lucky thing to roll since that puts all the loot of Rend on a 1.2 size facility (smaller than Offense lol) which has secure doors to deal with the Jester & coil heads.
    Also probably part of why Mansion Titan is hell on earth. Turrets aside, a 2.35 size mansion is probably just impossible to full clear in 12 minutes.

    Hey man great video, I've been having a blast in lethal company so this will be super helpful for me and my friends.
    Just want to say: Some of the graphs text is hard to see, particularly titan and experimentation. I think it's the white backdrop on black main colour.
    Might look better as white text with a different colored backdrop Like Grey. Or maybe a bolder/more separated font style.

    A friend and I got 4 beehives worth 110 EACH on March once.
    Edit: I do use the left hand on wall strat for Mansion interior and it works pretty well most of the time. The library staircase has a chance to slip me up and make me lose where I am, but other than that its pretty good

    i started watching this video while on call with a couple friends and with one of them i started playing LC a week ago and we actually had a mansion map on experimentation around 2 days ago, i remember because it was the first time i actually saw a mansion map because i didnt know they existed at all
    and its crazy how rare they are
    such insane luck and we didnt even know lol (edit: oh and i have 23h at this moment, so really not much)

    Great navigational trick for mansion, and anywhere really. Spray paint… turn around and spray the top or sides of every door you enter, and follow the marks back out

    Experimentation is severely underrated for early game solo runs. It's close to the ship and easy to loot. It's possible to get 300-400 from this map with a good run and decent RNG. I honestly think the solo game might warrant a different tier list because of how drastically strategy changes when you're not with friends. For soloing I'd put Exp above Offense and maybe Vow too for gameplay anyway. Although game and lore-wise, Vow is the coolest map so far.

    Hey I wanted to post this in defense of offense. While offense is arguably the worst loot wise, when playing solo on offense I've found it the best (from my experiences) for first quota. Sure its horrid if you're already experienced enough to dodge all monsters outside or have a really coordinated team, I find offense's greatest strength is both its safety and speed when using the pipe fire exit. Not only when playing offense do you not have to worry about monsters, if you're quick enough you can get a LOT of loot very quickly due to the fire exit RNG mechanics of being placed deeper in the maze.
    Overall I agree that on paper offense is actually a pretty bad map, but when playing solo and specifically using the pipe fire exit to its advantage, in practice it can be both a very safe and strong moon early run. However this goes without saying that with a team or if you're really good against monsters where you don't need to worry at all, its a pretty mid map.

    I don't understand the value stats when it comes to some of these charts.
    Does a cash register count as a large valuable item since I've found many on offense even though it says 0% on your chart.
    And again I might be being dense but I'm just wondering.
    Also the website showing the viable weather for the moons may be wrong because I've had dine flooded before.

    It's interesting to hear that rend has better potential than dine, and those graphs were amazingly educational! Will have to try it out some time.
    One minor disagreement I have is that flooded dine is fairly easy to deal with, since you can hug the small mountains on the way to and from the main entrance to prevent drowning, and the fire escape has no issues with the flooding. Says nothing about how things go inside tho lol. Also didn't realize rend has less turrets than dine.

    As someone who almost always uses the holding left or right wall strat I can vouch for its effectiveness on mansion maps. It single handily allows for me too not need a flashlight allowing for more money (or other held items) and allows for a quick escape via doing a 180 and running along the wall skiping dead ends if you remember properly

      That's because people refuse to see the changes that happened, and the numbers presented to them. Even if you literally show them the code and prove that Rend is objectively the best, they would still go Titan/Dine coz their favorite streamer/youtuber told them it's the best.

    I wasn't aware that you couldn't "clear" a facility map by hugging the left wall. But admittedly I mostly hug a wall for the sake of not getting lost when it comes time to haul my loot back. I'm not super skilled but I definitely appreciate the detail and info in this video, subscribed!

      Both map types seem to have a small chance of spawning areas that it won't work in, but it's reliable enough to just do it anyway and if it doesn't work then you can just do whatever

    Honestly, this video makes me want to go to March less. Not only is the lower and upper bound loot potential the same as an 'easy' map, but the fact that it can be twice as large as well, meaning loot is further apart/away.
    March also has a decent chance for Coilheads, and us the first map in the lineup that can have Jesters. The only saving grace seems to be the beehives, which is still a gamble.

      jesters are incredibly rare in march and Even with a huge map, because there are a lot of fire exits you can just peak at least three if you play solo. which usually has some loot close by. Not to mention you’ll most surely get two beehives in the beginning that can be up to 160 in value, with 90-100 being average. But march is just way better when its a full team because you can send everyone to a fire exit and they will all most likely come back with loot. especially since the high value Small items like Airhorns, clown horns, laser pointers are more prominent.

    I think offense is worth it because of the fire exit, it takes one well timed jump or an extension latter to access it which isnt too demanding. all for the easiest and safest way to ferry items back to the ship, no dogs or worms can get you up there. worst case, you get homie to take off and you jump onto the ship as its taking off if there are too many dogs at the ship. offense is carried by that fire exit

    Why I think March is worse than Assurance:
    Both maps have the same amount of possible loot, but March has a larger map which makes the loot significantly harder to find. Speaking of the loot, March has (as seen in the video) REALLY BAD cheap large item chances and the infamous metal sheet sits at 11%. Majority of the common loot is horrible and cheap two handed items. Can shake hands with Offense there.
    Now for the entities on March. They're harder, more than twice the indoor power of Assurance and twice the nighttime power. High Bracken and small Coilhead chance will always have you looking over your shoulder in there.
    You can look at the different indoor chances between the two and you'll see what I mean. I find stop signs regularly on Assurance so you can even use those as extra weapons against the 29% Snare Flea chance.
    As for the 3 fire entrances... I am confused about that one. They very often spawn close to each other so they don't even help you with the 2x map size but I guess that helps you with traversal outside in case a giant camps an exit or something? I don't know.
    Beehives are a thing on March but are not as reliable source of moneys as indoor scrap. And it's not like they're completely extinct on Assurance either.
    tl;dr
    Beehive still spawn on assurance (rare but still appear), indoor entities insanely easier on assurance, better loot on assurance, loot no hide (small map) on assurance.

      I agree. March isn't necessarily a bad moon, but it's definitely worse than assurance. I typically get twice the amount of loot I'd get from march, and I've played on both moons a lot

      On march I typically will only go a bit into each exit then move onto the next one while also getting bees, it's really the sizable chance of getting hives that makes march worth going to

    I kind of like Offense because it's really easy to bring back loot to the ship from the main entrance, just slide down the hill and it's a straight line. The most frequent nighttime spawn is eyeless dogs which are really easy to avoid because the ship is infront of an open field and baboon hawks often spawns and distract the dogs + the pipe jump leads straight from the top of the ship to the fire exit which makes it easy to avoid any nighttime threats, especially if landing during eclipses. The only real danger of this moon are coilheads because you can deal with the rest with a shovel and a gang

    I'm gonna defend Offence for a moment by pointing out that looting from the fire escape is incredibly safe, like the safest looting in the game, thanks entirely to the overhead pipe.
    The fire escape is completely out of reach of any nighttime enemies, but a player standing on the overhead pipe can get the attention of eyeless dogs to lure them away from the ship to clear the way for those on the ground. You can drop loot off the overhead pipe directly behind the ship as well, to minimize the distance you have to cover on the ground.
    The utter safety from outside means players can continue looting far later into the night, allowing for skillful players to more consistently clear out everything inside the facility.
    A small aside is that the fire escape completely nullifies a flooded modifier (like Dine).

      While true the outside monsters on offense are also not very dangerous in the first place, dogs are some of the easiest enemies if you stop talking and worms aren't so bad if you just keep moving

    Hi Wurps, in a couple of your videos now you have mentioned the 'Lightning Rod Strat'. I can't seem to find any information on this, apart from what you said at the end of this video. Do you think you could do a video on it? Stormy is very annoying for me and my team, and in most cases it seems more difficult than eclipsed. A video on the lightning rods strategy would help us out immensely. Thanks for the awesome videos, they are so good and informative, they have helped me a lot!
