Thiago silva was phenomenal dude: He spent the first half busily dealing primarily with Heang-min Son, whose consious attempt to target his runs, against the elder statesman of chelsea as defence made perfect sense but ultimately came to nothing as he and spurs run out of steam

Sure but we should first start with 3-4-3 then in 65+ minutes we can go with 3-5-2.bcoz we have plenty of players who play wide(ziyech,Werner,Kai,Cho,mount,pulisic) so these dudes need to play and what's sad we got few in midfield role, only 3 who are good and we play them all every match can't be possible

kante get us control of mid back. but its timo that really create chance. Before he come on we score from a corner and a deflected show. Once timo come on then we really open up spurs def, the only negative side is he miss his chances, but those are not easy to take, mount miss an open goal in first 1/2,
and sure enough timo get an assist later.

I think his lack of confidence in finishing is working in our favour with Lukaku there with him. Mount and Havertz have been scoring so when I think is a good pass to Lukaku they want to go on their own. So by the time they realise it won't happen they miss the chance to pass to Lukaku. Timo and Lukaku together are creating so many more chances for each other. It's unfortunate though that Timo still isn't finishing. He had at least two chances when he came in when Lukaku played him in. The 352 formation is something we can try against City with Timo and Lukaku up front.

if you watch him in training and for his past teams, its easy to see that it's a confidence issue
Werner may choke when it comes to scoring but we definitely look more dangerous with him on the pitch

He made us more dangerous today. He made us more dangerous against Villa when he came on for 5 mins. Lukaku gave credit for the second goal to him, his run gave him the additional second to aim. I've been saying it since about a month into Tuchels time here, I think he gave up on Timo scoring, he is now deployed as the antiKante, run like mad without the ball and pull the opposition apart, don't close down space, create it. And at that, he is elite.

2nd half performance from Blues was not just excellent but it was something that mentally devastates your opponent. Timo Lukaku partnership can shatter teams. Marcos alonso,this man is on his prime. Determination,quality and his passion just changes the whole game,he and kova is the playmaker now. Whenever and wherever they're moving, it always created a super chance. The pass, the run is brilliant 💙 but the others work is absolutely amazing too. Lukaku plays well even he didn't manage to get a goal or assist this time,kante instant impact and it's great to see kepa finally on the starting lineup again,It really helps gain his confidence back 🔥.
