I had 2nd gen and 3 3rd Gen. I have 4 brothers all have 3rd gens . We never had to replace a hub bearing
I remove the axle nut before removing the wheel and tire, comes right off
It’s awesome that you always take the time to do the job right!
its the only way to do it!👍🏽
Wow that’s impressive. You did it! Great job.🙏💖👏🏼👍
Thanks!
I had to use a thick four foot cheater bar to get the axle nut off while it was still on the truck, it was on there.
Lol definitely a pain without the right tools.
Always put a squirt or 2 of grease in the U Joints Cups when You first pull the Caps off and You will never drop a needle Bearing when You go to install them... Thanks for sharing...👍
Bro, when you were standing on the bench trying to break that nut loose, I literally couldn’t push myself farther away from the screen waiting for your body to take flight! Good shit though, I needed some of those part numbers. Appreciate the content man.
🤣🤣🤣 No worries man. Thanks for watching brother!
Nice Job Bro! Looks good. Keep up the good work!!! 👍
Thanks! Will do!
Hellow J. J i must say very good job .About how long did it take from start too. finished on the .U-joints and Wheel Bearings.
just like every thing you do. you make it look easy for .DIY super job j.j.
I'd say 4-6 Hrs depending on tools at hand, skill level and how rusted everything is lol
The struggle is real
Hey JJ. I see that you didn't reinstall the bracket that holds the ABS. It mounts to the upper ball joint nut. Did you paint your axel? It's pretty!
I’m pretty sure it was missing before I started the project. 🤔 Thank you! I did rattle canned the axle.
Nice pedicure 👌🏼
Thanks! She needed it!
