A.J.'s Traco Chevy sprinter was a hell of a car - a lot of wins.

Foyt was very generous to Jud Larson.

Man look at that crowd...!!! Now you can hardly see the track. Those were indeed the Golden Years for open wheel racing in the USA

New Bremen would probably still be there if they had NOT paved it, it was 100X better dirt track than it ever was A paved track.

Why did they do that? What made them think that ruining an already top money spinning track would be a "good idea?"

The plane at the beginning is a Republic "Sea Bee".

Judd looks like the kinda guy Foyt had to respect, or fight with. Poor old Judd got his head damn near cut off and died of his injurys. Foyt looks so much like my late dad it's spooky, and I know they were a lot alike, dad was hard to satisfy. Smokey said AJ was the best, and Smokey should have known.

Probably a blessing in disguise. Otherwise ..... Foyt would have eventually found out what most people don't know. Judd played the piano.
He used an umbrella in the rain too. Equates to "light in the loafers" in the 60s.

@@raymond3803 You A fargin ace hole..... Jud would have torn your head off for that smart ace remark, and so would have A.J. I was around Jud when I was A kid and never once did anyone think that about him.....

Are you kidding? Or are you insinuating that Jud Larson was "gay?"

    H. David, that's actually New Bremen, Ohio - not Eldora.

Excellent films of the old EL DORA. One of my all time favorite tracks.

Lots of things are dangerous. In fact, just living is a sure way to die!
