Ah yes! The mighty VHT. Had a UL for 24 years. That Amp demanded elevated control throughout my playing and forced me to mold into a more precise player. I miss it. Great showcase! I ran mine through a Peavey 5150 4x12 (Sheffield speakers) back in the day. Always filled the venue colliding into the drums...House shows were the best. Fantastic. Love to try the Fryette Deliverance stripped down version. It's on the list. Big thumbs up!
Man I just started using the deliverance with the band and it’s a bit of an eye opener. The clarity is noticeably increased from what I was using. As you said, it leaves less room for error on my part for sure, but nothing wrong with that. I do love the simplicity of these deliverance amps. Cheers man
Hands down best play through on the deliverance online! I adore this amp and want one sooooo bad, or a synergy deliverance with Fryette 290 and a stereo chorus in-between. Thank you very much and keep them coming, you have my subscription! Also on this and your other videos, I love your song choices.
How does it compare to the almighty 2203/2204? My JMP 2204 boosted is my all time favorite amp, not even the BE100DLX managed to dethrone it ;) I’m looking to replace it with something simpler and more brutal…
MAN, I used to own a D60 and have noooo idea why I sold it and bought something else. I think I maybe did to try a Splawn at the time since I didn't have the funds to fork out to. Do you tend to find yourself constantly buying amps, using em for a little and then selling them off, seeking something new to you? I can't tell you how many amps I went through doing this. Ridiculous looking back on it, lol.
Sounds really great! I guess you get asked all the time, but I'm gonna give it a shot. Which IR are you using. I'm aware it is mostly Bogner V30 in all of your clips, but which is it, Two Notes, Ownhammer etc? Thanks
Great playing and tones man. Have you ever tried Ceriatone amps? I have Molecular and wondering if it's similar to wht or wizard amps. Would be nice to see you making a demo with it someday!
I had their 2202 for a little while for fun - it was cool. Have been tempted to try a Molecular for sure but it hasn’t happened yet. That’s a modded marshall a la Cameron. Very different thing from the vht/wizard thing. Not nearly as stiff and open- molecular would feel and sound very familiar and comfortable where the other two come across as harder sounding and feeling.
@@blakemansfield2356 Without diode clipping engaged it's basically jcm800 like Leon Todd said in his videos, maybe a little darker and has more gain. I can't say for sure because i've never tried real jcm800. With diode clipping engaged it has much bigger low end and is much smoother to play, but you have to work with the settings to get it to your liking, in my opinion eq is really sensitive, especially with girth and depth controls it changes a lot.
In his other videos there is a Suhr RL. I have one and a Fryette powerload. The powerload is much better in versatility and in sound. It sounds a lot cleaner than the Suhr.
The Deliverance II is footswitchable between less/more modes. The original Deliverance is not but can be modified to be. They sell a $15 kit that any tech can install to make the less/more footswitchable
@@blakemansfield2356 I love the sound of this amp and want to switch between the channels say like nirvana do but idk if this would work for that no worries thank you!
This sounds absolutely massive. Wide, rich, full with sweet overtones!!! Always been a fan of VHT.
Got that hiwatt/wizard clarity going on. I can "feel" the amp while I hear it. Always wanted to get in the vht/fryette driver seat.
You’re exactly right
Once you get one in your hands it’s the best thing ever. Do it!!
Man, you’ve just made the best demo of this beast on UA-cam by far
Thanks man!
@@blakemansfield2356 this one or the Bogner 3435?

Wow those are some great tones a lot of gain but without any of the buzz Chunky beefy and clear. Dark but bright in all the right ways..
Damn Blake, every time you bust out that XYZ lick, sounds so good! Great playing as always & the amp sounds excellent.
Whoohoo, thats a dream 80s sound to me 🙏
Dude. You play all the best riffs on your demos. 5 stars
Appreciate it man glad you dig
Sounds great dude! Thanks for sharing, love the tones you get.
These things are filthy! Great tones here. I miss mine dearly!
Great sounds. Well done.
Rocking a John Wheeler cabinet, nice.
StoneAge Baby!
Love these tones!!
😎Nice🔥☄️
This is still the best toan I have ever heard in my life. What’s the riff you’re playing at 2:25?
AC/DC "For Those About to Rock"
Holly shit...
What a fucking tone!!!
Awesome!
Ok that sound fucking awesome
Great demo man!! Killer sounding amp 🤘🏻
Wow,the higain play is saaweet
gosh this sounds good. ❤

Just as raw as a 2203. More bass, less mids, more gain. More aggressive. Not better or worse- just different.
Super tight

Can this amp do a liquid lead type tone? Sounds mega for the chugs and riffing, but you don't hear many lead playing based clips.

Your recordings always sound so good. What load box do you use? Do you usually play through a real cab at home or do you use studio monitors?

Is this head going straight into that StoneAge Cab ?
Shite this was impressive might have to add to amp list , mark iic/iib vibes
Bet it cuts through a mix like a hot knife to butter

Are VHT still in business? Where do you get this shit
Yes, under the Fryette name. Current VHT amps are not related to original company/designs
