To be clear, the vast majority of people who live in Hawaii have ZERO Hawaiian heritage or ancestors. The wide majority of locals born and raised in Hawaii are the descendants of immigrant farm workers with asian and pacific rim ancestry. This is why most government buildings are dedicated to people with Japanese ancestry in Hawaii. The slogan of 'Keep Hawaii Hawaiian' is nothing more than the cultural misappropriation of Hawaiians to perpetuate the systemic racist culture in Hawaii. The police department is currently plagued with racism! This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Local people say they are getting forced out of paradise because they can't make enough money, but these foreigners look to be doing well in Hawaii! Are these foreigners taking all the jobs or are the tourists taking up all the housing? It always seems to be someone else's fault that local people are having so many problems.
mostly the tourists and transplants coming in and raising the price for everything. The only locals that can stay are wealthy locals or locals willing to live 15 to a house which lots of people are doing.
