Mr. Rich: just finished reading your article "Signals-Railroad Traffic Lights" last night that was in the O Gauge Railroading Magazine Run 225 December 2007. Between the magazine article and the video, I feel like learned a lot more than what I already knew. I never realized how much information could be displayed for the Engineer by these lights. I'm looking to build a more realistic lay-out and if I'm running 2 engines on a main line, with 1 passing siding, the signal lights alone could bust my budget. Thank you for explaining in laymen's terms the basic operations of these signals!
