I am a wheelchair user a former social care worker of mine (still a dear friend) had 2 stunning working cockers I had the chance to do a bit with them and was given a very special oppertunety off the back of it wow fond memories of an amazing breed
My cocker is nearly 10 month old , we have had 6 sessions with a trainer , it's works a little bit ,but he's a long way to go , but he's the most affectionate dog I have ever had
Great work with this Cocker. I have an 8 month old and he just doesn’t give me this level of attention in addition has decided it more fun to run off with the ball or retrieve :( hopefully I can get him to this level by the time he’s one
He’s great. My 6 month old will retrieve off the lead but today when I used the whistle she got so excited she dropped the ball and just ran back to me?
We are first-time cocker owners. I wonder, if you are not training him for the hunt, will he need a substitute job, or will he be happy as "just" a family dog? Thank you in advance and for your videos/knowledge.
Hi I have a 6 year old cocker, I’m not planning on any real gun dog stuff but she loves to sniff things out and search so do you think some basic level retrieval things like this would be fun for her ? Looking for something more to keep her a bit more stimulated
We have a 9 month old wcs and have started doing some basic retrieval work. Your cocker would find it the must fun thing she’s ever done, as ultimately it’s what they were bred to do and find enjoyable (and she’ll then want to sleep for hours afterwards from the mental stimulation!)
Good morning sir I level the army on Saturday September 23 and I bought a wood land with land ill be doing land to fork witch best dog to restive rabbit birds and find deer’s I have the opportunity to have a spaniel or red setter any help please
why are you getting the dog to break his mark ?. surely if he marked the fall its best if he keeps looking at it , until the release word is issued , getting around the false releases by saying words like his name and being ready to correct false starts

I had a cocker spaniel for 8 years. Never took him hunting, but he was blessed to catch four rabbits! Helped our garden lol
Amazing dogs for active folk. Brilliant family dogs too. Love mine, can’t wait to get another soon!
Great lesson. You've broken it down into easy, simple steps to set up Jet & his owner for sucess.
What a gorgeous boy he is!!
Brilliant to watch. She’s done a great job already. Jet was so focussed on her. Reminds me Ive got a long way to go with my 17 week old!
She has done very well, all the best with your training!

I'm wondering if this can be adapted to a very energetic American Cocker Spaniel
