I know its the same cos I can see and hear. You learned a simplified and inaccurate version deduced by an amateur. You're out of key. So I corrected you. stop crying and practice or I'll come over there! I expect a practiced accurate video on my desk by the morning.
Theres never a A/F# diad, its A/Eb, creating.... the B7. I just recommended that other vid cos you need to see how it works on 1 guitar and in 1 position. The original isnt from the film it was just a cutscene dude. Banderas cant play guitar. Havent you heard of Los Lobos? btw LicknRiff does say hes arranged it, but his is VERY accurate and captures the style, his only 'arrangemt' is technical nuance that doesnt detract from the original. Dont you think?
You cant play it im afraid. Theres wrong notes everywhere. FYI the clarity of notes comes from correct fingering. Not magic and time. Thats just something we teachers tell beginners so they stay positive. Your going to stumble over your own fingers for thirty years. BTW theres an excellent correct lesson in the sidebar by LickNRiff. You dont even play the beautiful B7. These details matter or you're just playing some old eminor, not El Cancion
Dude My entire point is that UA-cam is rammed with poor demonstrations, I only upload videos of stuff people havent played. Talking to you has made me realise what is important in this song though, its the fingerings. Finger those chords fully and LET RING properly its simpler, easier, makes more sense to the eye and ear and sounds nicer. You dont need to do so much movement with the left. Free lesson there you see without a video. And now peeps who watch this may have hope. You're welcome.
Jorge I am a singer trying to start a Mariachi conservatory in Racine Wisconsin but I can't find any musicians. I have listed in Craigslist and I have placed paper ads in various Mexican businesses in my area with no luck! Man you would be a great for this. Get rid of the pick and hold the chords. Basics man. People will watch this, then think they know the song, then spend 13 years wondering why it never gets fluid , get tendonitis and go to hospital, then come to me where I have to undo all your bad habits.
