Really enjoyed this! The storybuilder was a massive highlight of GRIT for me too. Seeing how someone else uses it is really useful, and the adventure looks like a ton of fun (just picked it up via the Discord, I'll torture some players with it soon!). The twist at the end of the story is deliciously evil - excellent work! It reminds me of a scene in the book version of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell where a minor-ish villian gets there comeuppance in a similar way: their greed forces to an eternity of guarding the fairy road against intruders. For the first 8 minutes I was enjoying imagining you two as the troll things on screen talking to each other!
Hey, thanks for giving it a listen! Your comment about the Story Builder is just more confirmation to me that it is a standout feature for GRIT. I love the evil ending too! Funny you should mention that! The illustration has a story behind it and it is in the book by no accident. Those are Grickles, mischievous little creatures who tend to bicker and argue when they are in close proximity to each other. This is a representation of the two of us during the process of proofing and editing GRIT Fantasy, which was cause for some heated "Grickling". We now look at this fondly and laugh often about it.

The loot we found was all the shambling mounds we met along the way
