This is probably the best answer
When she refused to shake hands with her Fed Cup opponents, she lost me (and her career).
I agree, it's about good sportsmanship. I shake hands before competition all of the time, because I want to build good rapport with my opponents.
Her Beauty got in the way 😮💨
She is good-looking, but not super hot.
She wasn’t actually that good, and once other players figured her game out, she was toast.
She had no idea how tough the circuit was. She still is not ranked in the 100's. I wish her luck but I think the competition is just too tough now.
She peaked a decade ago when she reached Wimbledon final but not sure if she was ever that great to begin with.
She was never that great in the first place. She had one good season with easy draw. She's been done along time ago.
What happened? She’s not very good is what happened
She either lost focus or she was never that great to begin with. She has talent but it requires tremendous dedication and passion to hone that talent.
Yes. Plus the top players are able to stay consistent.
She is an very unfair and non ethical player
This is what happens when you start dating guys for tiffany earings rather than concentrating on the game.
Hmmmm… you forget abt Andreeescu? She’s the real candian tennis star.
Genie does not care, as long as she makes tons of cash with all of her endorsements she is going to milk the system regardless of where she sits in the professional female tennis rankings. She is still one of the highest paid female athlete's with all of her endorsements regardless that she is tanking. I heard she is retiring from tennis and going to start a new career playing pickleball.
She was physically assaulted by Kirios in the change room after their mixed doubles match, as opposed to a fall from slipping on a wet floor, and hitting her head. The photographs of her the next day showed bruises and damage on her head that looked like she had received several blows from a baseball bat. Those photos are nowhere to be found now, and the trial was basically a negotiation between Eugenie's family and the USTA, where the USTA agreed to pay 75% of her medical costs. Pretty weak settlement for an injury that continues to plague her in September 2023/
I’ve heard rumour about the incident but never this. Interesting
You should stop spreading fake news, and his name is Kyrgios, not Kirios, jeez, the simpleton is strong in you.
Got lucky for a bit then talented players with more drive came up and beat the crap out of her. Her looks/body are also starting to fade. She should just try and focus on getting a broadcasting career going and stick with that.
Apart from the 2015 US Open accident, she's too hot to focus on tennis
