Thailand needs to do the same as majority of countries, that is 90 day visa on arrival.
Thanks for sharing opinion
SE asian countries usually have similar visa free entry requirements.Of course, there are subtle differences.
Don't be greedy they not like that, 45 days is still better then 30
Thanks 😊
Thanks 😊
That’s brilliant news 😊❤️
Excellent news! Thank you Theya! 🙏
My pleasure, Rob.

Some more good news coming from Thailand. Have to agree, making it permanent sounds like a great idea.
Thank you, Greg.
A great news for extension of stay in Thailand
Happy for all
This is of course good news. Even better news would be an extension to 60 days. I hope it will be possible to extend the 45 days by another month at the immigration office in Thailand. Thanks for the info @Teya.
Let's see
Suay mak mak and the flowers are very nice too ❤❤
Thank you very much
yes good idea
Yes, thanks
It's great news for all of us, But my plan is for November next year. I love to stay at your farmhouse for a few days.

Hi Teya thanks for the video updates I have booked my flight ticket for January 2023 I have not been able to travel to Thailand because of the corona virus I can't wait to come back to Thailand
Please welcome back, Alexander
I like your T-shirt so fitting for you. You always handle negative comments so eloquently and in a dignified way. The beautiful white flower of your garden distracts me. What is the name of flower? Thank you...Smile and have happy day.
Thank you so much! Flowers is called "Sroi In Ta nin" or Bengal clock vine, Key Vine, Sky Flower
I'm happy arriving on 12th Oct 😀
Hope you enjoy it!
Most people in Europe who are in work find it difficult to get more than 4 weeks off especially in one time.People who can stay longer will still be looking for a visa.
Hi Teya,
GREAT to see you again, when you showing your new room off to your followers.....
Got question, will the visa/passport control @ the airport automatic give the visa for 30 + 15 days making it 45 days from arrival as this would be ideal to know especially planning my stay as was coming back in September for the 30 days but will put it back till start October so can have the 45 day visa....
Would it be possible to let me know.....Very best regards to you & your family......REX (UK)
I'm so sorry. It just post on the news today right away after they finish the meeting. They will need to work more with all the process before it starts for real on Oct. I recommend you to contact the Thai Embassy and ask for more info but I don't think anyone can tell you now as it's too early. With my personal opinion, you'll be automaticcal allowed to stay for 45 days and if I were you, I would as the officer at the immigration counter to make sure again that all is good as plan.
good post
Thank you
Hi
For sure it will be good if it continue next year but its ok, its better then nothing and i am happy for the 45 days.
Thank you thai government

Ps now this is 100 procent sure, they wrote in royal gazette.
I forgot thank y for this nice info
Nice to see your comments on my UA-cam again. If you don't mind taking my advice, Please kindly change the profile photo of your UA-cam. Garuda for Thailand is a significant of the King. Thai people will never used it as it's disrespectful to the King. But it's just up to you. Being a foreigner is a bit luckier as Thai people will forgive you but if Thai people do, it's very offensive one.
@@ItsThaithings oh thank you i didn't know that
Hello there you look very nice. I been here a time. Got my visa for 1 year
Welcome back!
@@ItsThaithings thank you 😊
thailand must up great
OK will do
Hey Teya, it good to know that tourists can stay longer! I plan to take advantage of the offer and stay 45 days next time! Just think about being able to visit more places in your beautiful country. And Teya, it would be so cool to visit your family home. I envy you and your family to be able to live in paradise 🙏.
Thank you so much, Dave.
Thankyou
You’re welcome 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for the update. Great news for us Americans. Question. Are you saying if you arrive by March 23, 2023 you can get a 45 day visa upon arrival from that date forward? Arrivals on March 24th can only get a 30 day visa?
I highly recommend you to ask for more info with the Thai embassy from the USA. It's just post about this news after the meeting. I don't have any more information. With my personal understanding, Even though you arrive on 31st March, you'll be able to stay for 45 days as they permit you to have this right until the end of March.
Good
Thanks
I think thai government have to inform the embassy's everywhere, and give info about if we still have to apply for the voa or not, the 45 days got criticism , but nut from me, i only think that it isn't good that we cant get info because embassy think that it isnt official.
Stay safe

SAWADEE, hi can you clarify if the visa, for US is " on arrival " ? 45 days ? thanks much
krap kun krap
They need to make this permanent or do even better, go to 90 days like Malaysia.
Thank you for sharing opinion 🙏
Perfect, We're planning to stay in Thailand for 40 days in Dec-Jan, now we don't need to apply Tourist visa.
Happy for you, Tony
But you may have to pay for the extension? Nobody explains it clearly!
No more thai pass and no more insurance when we enter thailand?
Hi Theya, I don’t need a visa for South Africa. Will that also be extended to 45 days
Yes you're right. Please recheck with the Thai embassy info again.
hi dear where can i find official news on this new update? i tried searching internet but all i get is 30-day .. i accidentally booked my tickets wrongly for next year and it happened to be 31 days!! if this is true, i wont have to extend my visa and pay extra fee or do a visa run :(. my return flight is on the 10 march which is within the dates you mentioned..
Short-term tourist spend more money than long-term tourist (money spent per day). Increasing the number of days allowed only leads to small increase in income but crime and other social problems begin to increase significantly.
We love both short term and long tern tourists. No matter long or short stay, they are all welcome to be here. If I could should I would rather have a quality tourists, who not only support economies but respect the rules in Thailand and no fight nor do anything elegally.
Good news madam
I agree
Teya the greatest...
Thank you very much
Good news about Victor. Take care of him, Teya. He did save you from a snake once. 😁
He did. Ha...
That’s a bummer I’m coming on 1 April for six weeks
Sorry Darren
@@ItsThaithings it’s ok love thank you 🙏
Hi 👋 thanks for the video
Do you know if it's true that indians can only get 7 days extension if they come on 30 day tourist visa?
i don't know about it. Please ask the Thai Embassy for India
I wish !! Only 2 weeks at the end of September this trip 😢 but good news
Have fun!
@@ItsThaithings thank you. Excited already ! So when I arrive from uk 🇬🇧 I get ‘ tourist on arrival ‘ stamp in passport ?.
My ‘friend’ did a trial trip on the BTS green line then / airport link to the airport a couple of weeks ago ..
Ok i visited in feb.. im planning to visit in sept.. seen some videos.. so i just need to apply visa and book ticket come.. and i have 3 dose vaccination so i dont need pcr as well right.. ..
No need
@@ItsThaithings yes i thought so but my embassy notice in nepl saying i need 10,000 usd worth insurance and thai pass that i eilll wt in 24 hour strange.. while applying visa
You should follow Thai embassy. They work particular for visa. Each other have different rules. I only read news I hope you understand
Hi. Where do I go to when I arrive at the airport for visa exemption? I know its different from visa on arrival
It's the same way. Visa on arrival also go the same way but they must stop on the way before going anywhere. You don't stop just keep walking
india to Thailand new rules please update
Hi teya my boyfriend is from the USA and will gonna visit there in Thailand next month does he still need a visa for just 4 days there as a tourist?? Thank you
American no need visa if visiting only 4 days
Yeah, I think like a promotion. They will lose a lot of money in visa and extension fees if they do that permanently.
Maybe you're right.
Can I stay at a follow teachers house instead of a hotel while I'm in Thailand without a visa?
You can stay anywhere as long as you don't stay over than visa permission
Hi teya I will arrive on 17th January for 60 days from uk on tourist visa but I will want to extend my visa will I be able to extend 45 days more thanks
I don't hear they mention about giving extra for the extension days.
Iam an indian , travelling to thailand, on September 25th. Will i get VOA for 30 days, since i can see for only two weeks
No you won't get it for 30 days
Can Myanmar stay 30 day?
How long can you stay in Thailand now I am looking that's been there in March 2024
It depends on where you are from. Thailand have a contract with each country differently but generally many people can stay for 30 days
Hi Teya,
Another great video.
Q1. Just want to know how to apply for 3 months Visa while stayed 30 days in Thailand?
Q2. How many time can I do boarder run per year in Thailand?
If you leave and come straight back (visa run, Myanmar border is closed) you get 30 days if on the same day you re enter you go to the immigration office(not the crossing) you can get a 30 day on top extension for 1900bt,you can do this twice.Your only choices are Cambodia,Laos and Malaysia but I believe you can fly in and out as many times as you want or 6 times in one year, not sure, that's how I believe it was before covid.I did the land crossing + extension at MaeSai at least 6 times.
Hi
Is it possible to somewhere see which contries get 45 days
You can watch this video. I put all the list on it. ua-cam.com/video/iUl-_cHNCoE/v-deo.html
Hi i look on the list that my country is on it but do you know how it will be after 1 okt
I mean do we still have to apply online , and how we get the 45 days i guess the ticket have to have exit after 43 days , i look on your vid but maybe i am to old to get it.
Stay safe
Rak Thais RAk Thailand samer
If you not answer my questions its ok
I understand
A 90 day visa (currently 60 days) would be good.
Yes I think so
90 day single entry O is just as easy to apply for as a tourist.
@@thomasjohnrobinson4658 Thank you, I have not heard of that before, I will check it out
Do not think it will make any difference. We used to do a visa run pre covid after 28 days
Thank you for sharing opinion.
I have been coming for 20 years on o visa 90 days now they require only online it cost me more to have someone do this because it is very difficult and like pulling teeth I would stay longer 5 months and spend more money ???? And l am married to a thai that's ok I can spend it traveling else where
You can apply by yourself, Thomas. Why did you pay ppl to do for you? Of course, they will charge you expensive with farang price too.
Ok, bye bye Thomas 👋
What site do you go to to apply for Tourist visa
www.thaievisa.go.th/
Good idea, but l think most people that work normal job's around the world only get two week's ayear ??
I guess they focus to Digital Nomad travellers and maybe retirees.
@@ItsThaithings thank for your reply
Hi Teya, my daughter and I would like to volunteer in an elephant sanctuary for a week or so. Could you recommend any particular place? I have sent a few places emails to inquire but have not received any response. Thank you. Love ❤️ your vids.
I don't know where will go to. I guess Chiang Mai. If so, I recommend ONLY 3 camps 1.Patara Elephant Farm 2.Maetaeng Elephant Park & Clinic 3.facebook.com/Maesaelephantcamp
You can do anything in your power to get tourists but people always remember how Thai government treated farangs badly and how problematic the Thai government are
Choose to go where it makes you happy. Don't be upset with Thailand government.
They should offer free Visa on arrival for Indians. 2200 baht is too much. Average Indian stays just one week. Air tickets are very costly.
I think if you apply visa in India, it costs cheper than paying for visa on arrival.
@@ItsThaithings yes it is 2500 Indian rupees=1000 baht nearly. So, 50% less.
Can I use credit cards in bars pubs restaurants thank you.
It depends on each bars. There's not every bars or every business in Thailand accept a credit card.
@@ItsThaithings thank you jest complicated to understand and navigate my way round your currency thank you.x
It's fun things about traveling abroad. You will get use to it.
@@ItsThaithings I am bringing 81000 over for two weeks hope 🙏 I understand the currency how much should I carry on my self per day thank you for your time x
If you don't go shopping like crazy, I think 3000 is enough.
Dont think it will make any difference British Airways have already cancelled all flights for November and December and with flights prices sky high going to be a very hard time for Thailand. Kuala Lumpur and Singapore have been welcoming tourist on a 90 day free visa why don't Thailand welcome tourist more
Everyone have their own reason.
Malaysia Indonesia and Hong Kong is 180 days without visa
I'm happy for them.
Teya when will visa charges free like 2000 Bhat for visa on arrival any update
When? Is it your question?
@@ItsThaithings yes
Why don't you apply at the Thai embassy? It's cheaper
@@ItsThaithings ok but previously I come Thailand Visa is free only I just submit my return ticket and my hotel booking that’s it I get visa stamp now I need to pay 2200 or 2000 Bhat that’s why I ask you
I never knew it was free. Thanks for sharing this information.
Will you get a 45 day extension?
They don't mention it.
Some say 30 and others say 45.
Why only 5 months ? Seems a bit odd ..
I agree

Hi Teya
Thanks for the info
May i ask a few question ?
The news is:
If i arrive after 1 october i can stay without visa for 45 days !
3 questions
1.if i want to extend after 45 days ? Can i ?
I mean, when normally i arrive i have 30 days free, no visa needed...and i can extend for 30 more days...
How about now with 45 days ?
2. If i want to go out and go back thailand between 1 oct and 31 march they give me 45 days ?
This means:
I arrive 2 october, i remain in thailand for 45 days, after i ask for extension of "45 ?" days, and after i go out and come back and they give me 45 days more ?
Could be possible ?
3. You sayd that Visa can apply on line ?
Is correct ?
Thanks for any info ?
😉😊
If you think you'll stay for a long time, it'll be easier to apply as Tourist Visa before traveling Thailand because you don't have to waste time to go to extend it at the immigration office. If you come without applying visa after 1st Oct., you can stay for 45 days but you must extend visa before it expires. You must go to extend it by yourself in Thailand or letting agency (me too) to extend for you but it's expensive. When you leave Thailand, it means when you come back, you'll be able to stay for another 45 days as long as you come back before 31 March 2023. I dont work for immigration but just a guide. This is what I understand. If you want to make sure all is correct, you must contact the Thai Embassy in your country.
@@ItsThaithings thanks teya for your time and sorry for the long question but this "news" you give was so "new" 😊
@@ItsThaithings there can be a problem, when y do the borderrun as i will call it, if they think y only go out from Thailand and come back in order to get 45 days again, then they not have to give y new visa.
It happens sometimes because they not want that people go in and out only to get a new visa.
So better for people to aply but remember all document have to be sharp as a "knife" if not they can also say no.
I prefer to go to the embassy but in my country its not a possibility.

Yes, But It will be lifted from 1st October 2022, as per news received today. It might not have be existence of CCSA w.e.f. 1st Oct.22, I heard so.

Sawadee Teya, it is good to hear from you again. Yes, you are right I was thinking the same about the 45 days extension to make it permanent. In any case I am happy to hear this is good news. That is one beautiful garden you have there! Definitely would love to visit and see if. My plans is to go to Thailand on February. I would like to explore and see the beautiful attractions in Thailand for a few months first and make a decision were I would permanently want to settle(Retired). Kob kun na cup!🙏😍🦣🐅🛕
Settle in Thailand? Yes I agree to let you travel and learn more. Living here is different from traveling like being a tourists.
