It was not very surprising that he was friends of Jeffrey Epstein and is now literally a registered sex predator.

My child went through this, and at first I was so scared, I had just gone through a divorce, she had attempted suicide (her therapist was clueless) and the fear that she was going to try again I went along with calling her a boys name and letting her dress like a boy. I started realizing something was not right and I pulled her out of school and signed her up to the state sponsored online school and she has dropped all this nonsense. She is very girly now and has a great boyfriend and is looking forward to motherhood! ❤ this is heartbreaking!
Thank you for writing this. More parents need to hear your story, and thank goodness you listened to your motherly instincts, and d could see that something "wasn't right" about the lie they had pushed on your sweet daughter. You saved her life!

Megyn, I am a 78 year old man and being treating for prostate cancer. 5 years ago I was put on LUPRON injections. The side effects are horrendous. As an adult that has lived a more than healthy productive life, I can cope. I can't imagine a young boy going through the side effects of a testerone blocker. I 'm happy to be alive due to LUPRON, any doctor that gives it to a young boy should lose the ability to harm others.

As someone who was also given that drug, at different times in my life for different reasons, I completely agree.
I have opposed this nonsense since it started, and it did not make me popular with my fellow physicians. Sex (not gender: nouns have gender; people are of a sex) is not "assigned at birth," it is DETERMINED by DNA at conception, nine months earlier, and the idea that surgery and cross-sex hormones alter sex is as laughable as the idea that chopping off one's arm, wearing a hook, and saying, "ARRRRRRGGG" makes one a pirate.
When this began, and some of my colleagues began to support it, I told them, "It's like your mother told you: all fun and games until the lawsuits start." Thank God we're there. Go, Harmeet! Maybe we can save a few of these children.

Back in the 80s, I edited a 3-volume textbook on plastic surgery. It was a serious textbook about burn victims, cleft palate, accident victims, and so forth. And there was a chapter on sexual reassignment. The doctor who wrote the book said, it's not just the patients who are troubled but the doctors who perform the surgery are strange. At that time, there were not many surgeons who performed this type of surgery. Just sayin', there has been a tidal change in how we think of sexual transition. I think the reluctance of surgeons back then helped prevent people from having this surgery before they had a long time to think about it.
@@geraldinemcgowan2385 It was also the intervention of psychologists and psychiatrists. Gender dysphoria used to have mandatory counseling for a years and you were counseled to dress as the other sex and see how that fit for at least a year or more, before they would consider releasing you for any permanent changes. Now all caution is thrown to the wind and you go in they are forced to affirm you. In Canada, they are not allowed to tell you anything other than you're trans and here's some body altering meds to get you started. There's no wait time, just say the word and go. Doctors who try to intervene w/ wise counsel are now reprimanded.
Experimentation on people-medical, psychological, or social-is monstrous.

To influence a teenager to transition to opposite sex is child abuse, period! Any adult doing this should be sued and put in jail, including those evil doctors. People should have some basic common sense, when you are born in a certain way by god design, you CAN'T change it without harming your own health. Where were the parents of these kids? How can any parent watching their children doing such self harming transition without fighting it?! Parents have to take a firm stand to protect their children from those evils.
If a parent doesn't support their child's transition the state can and will take custody of your child. So it's affirm or lose your child.
You have to move to a state with protections if you have Young children.
Unfortunately so.e parents encourage this
Today's parents have been semi-brainwashed by the schools and main-stream media. They've been told, or raised, to let the child make adult decisions, without understanding the consequences. And, they're also being shamed for not allowing their children to do whatever they want. As such, a lot of them kind of just go along, and believe what the teachers and doctors tell them. Plus, I don't think enough of them are even aware, today, what is going on in their kids' schools and this whole transgender evilness.
I'm grateful that my parents and grandparents were firmly grounded in truth and knowledge, and were good roll models. My Mom and Dad would have given their own lives, before allowing some doctor (who she already didn't trust!) to mutilate me, or tell me I was the opposite gender. I would do the same for my kids, if I had little ones, at this time.
At first, about 10 years ago the American academy of pediatrics agreed with you and issued a statement as such. Now they are also part of the woke mob

I was married to a psyhcologist and as we would be driving around town, we would some times see a young man, looking homeless, wandering aimlessly around. My husband shared (in hindsight probably unethical) that that young man had gone through the "transition" surgery, as a very young person, to change from male to female. My husband had seen him/her as a patient in an attempt to help that young man to adjust to the fact that he felt he had made a huge mistake and had decided, after having his penis removed, that he really didn't want to be a girl and in fact was actually a boy. The young man was seriously messed up and unable to cope. After one therapy visit, the young man never returned to see my husband and we later heard he had committed suicide. It was so sad and at the time uncommon. Every time I hear people discussing transgender issues, especially in very young people, I flash back to the poor young man that made a mistake. SO sad and scary to see how this wave of transitioning has been growing and being supported by responsible adults!
A double mastectomy at 16? According to the activists, these procedures are not being done on minors. Again, the thing that never happens is happening. 🙄
It's common knowledge, now. It's horrific, and the fact that they cut off a boy's penis just sickens me to the core. How dare these monsters get away with it, and how dare our government doesn't criminalize it, heavily.
I'm not sure that anyone should be surprised by all this. Celebrate your sex, it's a gift no matter if you're male or female. Stop this insane social contagion.

Thank you Megyn for your unashamed, unfiltered honesty. You are a very rare journalist. You are much needed and much appreciated. I am in the counseling profession and believe it is needed. Sadly, most therapist are ineffective at best or blatantly harmful. It's disgusting.

Buck is a great person. I don't understand why people feel the need to do this to themselves. It must be terrible to be that uncomfortable in your body. I understand that to a point, being an aging woman. Can't imagine not being ok w/ my sex.

This story is heartbreaking. What happened to an understanding of normative adolescent behavior, and protecting children from harm? I’m so glad to be retired from Pediatrics now. I could not roll over with gender affirming nonsense. Why can’t people just be people? There has always been a wide spectrum of expression in men and women. Career women, athletes, homemakers, pageant girls, truck drivers … and they can love men, women, both, or their cat. Men, too, are accepted as burly or metro. What the heck is going on with trying to defy nature and genetics? Preying on children with mental health issues and trauma in this way is CRIMINAL.😢

I’m in my 50s, when I was young I played football, climbed trees, climbed on walls, my mum despaired with me scuffing my shoes. When she told me she was going to take me shopping for bras, I was devastated, heartbroken, in tears, I played so much sport. I didn’t want to become a woman, the whole thing to me seemed unfair and I didn’t want to do it. Can you imagine what would happen to me today if I’d expressed any of this. It’s scary, this whole thing is so scary and heartbreaking for those who detransition. My worry is that this is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better, and how many children we are allowing to do this.
@@TheTeddyBearsWon The scary thing about our day and this day is becoming a man was celebrated and so was becoming a woman. When kids had qualms and insecurities about their bodies changing, the whole culture was there to support them and promote that change. Now it's radically different and even if kids aren't having these feelings on their own, schools are putting doubt in their mind and there are all these grooming channels telling them trans is cool and trendy. You get special attention for it and everyone is supposed to affirm it, or be socially ostracized now.

Harming children for profit is truly a crime against humanity. How does mass gaslighting convince society that children can make adult decisions with permanent consequences?
I have a disorder called Pudendal Neuralgia that I developed after my hysterectomy. While it is a rare occurrence, it is happening more and more as young people are lead into this cult of gender ideology! I am an admin of a FB group for PN, pudendal nerve entrapment and pelvic floor disorder, disorders than NO Dr tells you could happen when you mess with this area of the body! The group is largely comprised of woman aged 45-65 who received horrible OB/Gyn care (and men can get it too for multiple reasons) and now we are getting younger and younger people asking to joining us our group for information. Most of them have been damaged by the gender switch lie! I advise everyone to educate themselves on this condition, because it’s a nightmare with no current cure!! Why are we setting up young people to be medicalized in many ways for the rest of their life?!

@@tlindsay1007 Thank you! ✝️ I am truly afraid that 10 - 20 years from now, these kids will be another generation dealing with these painful disorders, because they’re just not talked about. I had NO IDEA any of this could happen until my nerve lit up under an MRI a year after I had my surgery! Just like how people assume there is no risk in transition, I didn’t know I was in such risk from what I thought was a simple procedure. Laparoscopic. Easy. Now I have to deal with painful, incurable nerve damage the rest of my life. No CHILD should be making such life altering decisions.
@@MaryAnnTalamo I'm concerned about the kids, too. Unfortunately, there is money to be made by the medical facilities and doctors who are transing the kids. As you said, it creates life-long medical needs. I'm sorry that you have that chronic pain. I'm a big sissy when it comes to pain, so I have a lot of sympathy for those who suffer with it. I’m a nurse in maternal child nursing and we are forced to affirm or face loosing our job and our license. Luckily I have not encountered much of this in my career but I know it may be coming. I will say, we have known the effects of cross sex hormones in the medical world for a long time. These “side” effects are known.
I suspect a lot of nurses will end up quitting their jobs, after having to affirm this lie. We're already short on nurses, so that will be bad for patients. But, maybe people will get the message, when there aren't enough nurses to help us. I totally understand why you feel you have to affirm them, but I personally couldn't live with myself for not speaking up for the truth and possibly stopping the child from further harm.

These detransitioners are SO STRONG! To go on like the ones I've seen on YT, after having done such irreparable damage to their bodies due to the manipulation of activists, online g roomers, & the medical establishment while not being consumed with bitterness, remorse, & depression is an astounding testament to their resilience. Affirmation comes from within not from another person. It seems some of these detransitionsers are now realizing that. Let yourself go through it. All people go through puberty, it’s called nature and when it’s over the end will be more than satisfying.

Thank you Luca for telling your story. This is where money takes over and our mental health crisis shines. What happened to asking the questions about molestation, abuse, changes in their home life and being bullied. They don't even rule out hormone imbalances. Any professional dealing with minors who goes directly to gender affirming care needs to be sued, period. And there is no excuse for allowing any school employee to suggest or point to gender transition, it is too far over any of their capabilities. Shame on our medical community for abusing our children and choosing money over a human beings welfare.
In my 32 years as a therapist, the problem presented by the patient was rarely the actual problem causing the distress.
The responsibility of the therapist is to facilitate the patient discovering the root of their distress and assisting in facilitating a remedy.
But that is not the role of doctors or therapists today.
Today the role is to declare what the problem is and promote a single remedy.

I'm 75. When I was 25 and 5 months pregnant I went into labor. I was given 3 injections of male hormones to stop it. My baby was born one month later anyway. The hormones jumbled my emotions. I grew facial hair. My son survived so I'd do it again but damn.

What I never understand is we always hear about the potential suicide if these kids don't transition. No one ever seems to talk about the possibility of suicide after you've done the transition and there's no turning back the clock, after mutilation and removal of body parts, no orgasms no, children, yet it always seems to be the same talking points from the Right and Left.
The Doctors that do these surgeries, where do they get they're training and what does that training look like?
This is child abuse, plain and simple.

I believe that when the pharmacy has massive interest as well as doctors, there won't be push back or pause. In fact, Drs and big pharma work closely together, their bottom line: profit.
Think of all the stupid and uninformed things we all thought as kids. Imagine your parents had let you act on those things, encouraged it even, some of which may have resulted in permanent consequences! Can you imagine? Now, even if parents do object custody of their kids is threatened. It feels like people have just lost their minds and all common sense. It's so easy for kids to go down this road and one of the most prominent authority figures, for many kids, is their primary care physician or pediatrician, who are pushing this too, no questions asked. The doctors who do object are threatened. This has essentially become a state enforced religion from the side of the political spectrum who always cry about "separation of church and state." We are being forced to genuflect at the altar of transgenderism or suffer the wrath.
Increase the age limit for social media from 13 to 18. Really simple. It's one line of code at Facebook. No one seems to be able to realize this.

How is this transgender medical movement any different?
Every person should hold the belief that experts can be wrong. Total uninformed trust in medical professionals is a huge mistake.
Think, question, research, and most of all calm down, we have time to explore and investigate. Fear is our number one enemy.

What is a bit baffling is the absence of the neuroscientists to the debate. They all study and emphasize how the brain of adolescents is not fully developed until around age 25 - especially the pre-frontal cortex, center of the so-called "executive function" (making decisions, controlling impulses, planning, weighing pros and cons, and determining behavior). The limbic system output of emotional projections to the pre-frontal cortex fluctuates wildly. The biological hormonal surges are waves in constant flux, causing confusion and anxiety. But the interconnected brain circuits slowly mature over time, in response to personal learning, progressing education, and the accumulated experiences from the environment, establishing more clarity and self-confidence. And that is the long journey of becoming a fully functional adult, but not until around age 25!
As a not too far-fetched digression to a tremendously serious subject, here is Lewis Carroll commenting in 1869 in his famous poem PHANTASMAGORIA, Canto V, how irresponsible it could be for wiser grown-ups to rely on the unpredictable, unstable, and immature choices of children:
