Idk why but randomizers in Zelda games are always fun to watch to see the greatest of items in the weirdest locations, and seeing dungeons done out of order is always so interesting
It’s certainly one of the best Ganon fights. I really wish that twilight princess would have had the same type of fight with Ganon where he is actually a challenge
I still remember the Demise fight... Since the first part disables the Skyward strike, I never thought to imitate him and use the lightning... Beating him without it is probably the single hardest thing I've done in a Zelda game... Then I checked a guide, saw that you could use the lightning for skyward strikes, went back in, and beat him first try with no damage... Suffice to say I felt pretty dumb afterward.
@@hoppefrosk Yes, I had to look up how to beat him because the only clue you have that you can steal the lightning is that Demise uses it the same you do. But since no other enemy in the game does the same thing and the timing is telegraphed via the lightnings on the background, which you will probably think is just there for the atmosphere and not an actual gameplay mechanic, plus the fact that you're trying to not die to the last boss, those visual clues only make sense if you already know what to do!
or if he jsut stole the charge from dimise. if dimise is charging and you hold your sword up the lightning prioritizes your sword and gives it to you instead of dimise
Idk if he is playing bad on porpoise but this is literally the worst gameplay I've ever seen. I played it as a 10 y/o and got it in 2 tries i think. 1st try every other playthrough. The man took like 6 attempts or smth. He should become a game journalist.
@@SchnurriTV I think half the issue is his insistence on trying to only jerk his controller instead of swinging it, mixed with impatience from too long playing games he's good at speedrunning, mixed with the fact he's trying to play sitting down. That's 3 separate self imposed handicaps he has put on himself with only any real cognizance of the patience issues caused by section 2.
@@theendersmirk5851 I don't think sitting down is an issue. I've never played the game standing up, it works just fine sitting. But his flicking is an issue, plus he's too impatient with a lot of enemies that can block hits. He treats the swing like a button expecting the same effect every time instead of fully under his control. You do actually have to focus with Skyward Sword.
so glad that he did ancient cistern. great miniboss fight and arguably the best boss fight. i do love the final 2 bosses though as well (girihim v 3 and demise) Hord fight is a mix of infuriating (the horn guy) and satisfying. plus the amount of pleasure you get from skipping the moblins is a lot.
Huh. I didn't realize that last fight was actually hard, lol. I overprepared like CRAZY, spent three or four hours gathering stuff to make potions, and went in with a couple invincibility potions and the super-damage-increase ones and absolutely steam-rolled him. I always thought I'd wasted all my time preparing because he was just easy, turns out it was just being invincible and dealing 3x damage, who knew, lol.
I mean, in fairness, I first tried him with I believe just two faeries and a bunch of health. I didn't even play particularly well, I just fought like heck, got into the moment, and eventually, I was victorious.
@@punmasterG I never had an issue on the wii version, it has nothing to do with how you hold the controller, it's actually just about clicking to the right, wait, then quickly move to the left as they only move so fast. Also personally I've found the Switch motion controls far less consistent. I can easily go an hour on Wii without the calibration going out of whack and in some cases I literally played for 5 hours straight in the back of a car without a single recalibration. The Switch version in comparison loses calibration every few minutes or after only a couple swings. Thought skyward strikes were painful with the joycons. I will say that the joycons did increase the motion control sensitivity. Many who complained about it on Wii, like Linkus, swing the sword with a flick while they expect you to actually swing it and have the slow pre-swing flick to get in position. It's the reason some say you have to play it standing though to me sitting works just fine.
@TheFrantastic Oh my parents had the 2010 Grand Caravan which had two DVD players on the ceiling. It had inputs next to the rear seats to plug in anything with composite cables and a normal 120v outlet. Just ran the motion sensor onto the top of the center console and sat in the rear seat. Games with motion plus don't even need line of sight so I mostly sat on the right side. For Twilight Princess though I could either use the stick aim or just play left handed. The Wii remote was reversible so there's no difference.
The funniest thing is when I first played Skyward Sword, I didn't know you could lightning skyward strike against Demise, so I just brute forced my way through it not realizing it was possible to make it a joke.
it would be funny to do a randomizer, but with someone next to you who know exactly which items are in which locations, but he can't tell anything exept mocking him around.
@@datboi1102 Impressive!! The wii was my first and favourite console, it didn't take me overly long to do the pumpkins but that type of motion control wasn't one I practiced. I was a Go Vacation, twilight princess and super paper mario kid 💜💜💜

We know for a fact that they put bugs in potions, but they're probably in normal food as well. Protein! :D
I mean they have Pumpkin soup- So I imagine they're probably farmers and eat a lot of veggies (but now that you've mentioned it probably bugs as well.).

Zelda games are uniquely perfect for randomizers due to the way the games are designed and built.
