The young people probably don't remember when Ford used the truck jump in their commercials for the Twin I Beam suspension. No truck could do that now with the spindly weak A-frame suspensions used now. Most likely collapse and bend up the whole thin chassis Sure need a platoon of Paul Kerseys as well today
That 1967-69 Ford (the grille is the same on all three years) is solid American made steel. Twin I Beams had their positives and negatives but they were still quite solid.
I saw this movie in the '70s at a Jerry Lewis Cinema on a double feature with Woody Allen's 'Sleeper'. I'll never figure out why they put those two together.
Saw in on the Santa Monica Mall in Calif. the day it came out. It was a single feature, not a double. Stayed through for a second showing, so I saw it twice on its first day of release.
One of Bronsons best movies. I liked it more than the Death Wish movies. Loved how he told the hitman "Guess theres no point in getting on your good side," the WAP upside the head!!!😂😂😂
Al Lettieri died a year after this film was released. He became quite well known in the last three years of his life due to his roles in "The Godfather", "the Getaway", "McQ" as well as this one. He was just 47.

So the Ford F150 is crap then?

I still hear my father saying "That poor truck.".
They don't build yellow PU's like they used to. :)
Was just about to write the same thing! 😂
I was thinking “man that yellow Ute was built strong”
@@wayno2750me too
Ford could use that truck in their advertising.
It’s that twin I-beam front end.
From France,
Most of the people don’t know that charles BRONSON fought WW2.
He was a FLYING FORTRESS GUNNER🫡
Actually he was a B-29 Superfortress gunner in the Pacific.

Ford trucks are built tough!
Sure had some real bollocks then 😂
Man! Back in the day they took care of business.
That was cold blooded of sullozo to use that guy as bait to flush Bronson out.
870 wingmaster is a hell of a weapon

They were cheap. Money is all theater owners care about.

A masterpiece. I first saw in in Santa Monica, CA the day it came out theatricaly.

Obviously whoever filmed this, never really been in the backside of the truck offroad.
Actress, Linda Cristal
She was wife of Tyrone Power
I would piss myself if he flew out of the back

He was a VERY underrated actor, for sure. I'd give him an oscar for his part in this movie. Who could play it better??
Truck is beast tough!
