I was born after this aired but the women in my family were always referencing this show. They were so inspired by it! 2 of my aunts became nurses and were extremely proud of their jobs. I am thankful to the person posting this show series now i see what they saw. I love it!!!❤
Same here ! Your comment is so sweet, but only 1 like and and it's been up for 9 months. Why ? Because it isn't negative, it's simple , kind ,and to the point ! If it was negative, you would have had more likes ! But you are probably like me. I don't care about likes.❤
Oh, I used to watch Julia when I was little girl. I loved it. But watching the series today it's a kind bizarre a series that has a black woman on the leading role and that touch on ratial questions, at the civil rights era, but that, on the other hand, she and her son are the only black people in the main cast, and everything is beautiful and soft. Well, I know, I know... it's a ideal world, a world where black and white people live together, in harmony/peace. "I have a dream", Martin Luther King said. Anyways, I loved the series when I was a child.
Just discovered this show. I am loving Julia’s clothes they are gorgeous.
I believe Travilla was in charge of wardrobe.
I love the messages behind the episodes. Gold
