Makarska is a beautiful part of Croatian Coast, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque landscapes. Makarska Town lends its name to the entire Riviera, a narrow stretch of scenic coast extending for 30 kilometers, or 19 miles, in either direction from the town. The Riviera includes a series of charming coastal towns and villages facing several Croatian islands. Right behind the narrow Riviera rises the impressive and rugged Biokovo Mountain, with steep cliffs offering adventures and spectacular views. No wonder this beautiful part of the Adriatic coast has become a popular summer destination.
