Hi Wendy, I'm so happy to hear that!

Hi Wendy, I left a comment about two years ago with questions to John on the last video uploaded to the channel announcing the book’s availability. I got a reply saying there would be a upcoming video made with Deeno that encompasses and answers the questions I had. Unfortunately that video never did get uploaded. I am wondering if you know if it was made, and if so, can it be uploaded posthumously?
Have enjoyed John’s photography and spirit since I found out about him and and his work years ago. I have learnt a bunch from him and wanted very much to continue to. It would mean very much if the above mentioned video could be found and uploaded.
I feel a sadness receiving this news. Hope the Free family finds solace and grieves well with John’s passing. Hope John passed knowing in his heart that his energy was an inspiration to others.

The American government should be presenting him posthumously with a congressional medal. What a human being.

I echo what many have said here, thank you for making this video remembering John Free. I'm not very active on social media, so today I only sadly learned of his passing in March. He inspired me both as a photographer and a human being. A truly good man. I'm trying to locate a seller to purchase his book, but sadly don't see one at present. If anyone knows please post here. I'd certainly be thankful. Rest Well, John Free.

John and I messaged a few times, about photography, about his life in the military, about his work with cars and many more things, we were Facebook friends, I've watched all his UA-cam videos and he was like a mentor for me in photography (without him knowing it).
I love his videos on street photography and I like his video about the 5 F's a lot.
The 5 F's (Find, Figure, Frame, Focus, Fire) has been my "life boat drill" also, and I fell I will miss John a lot, even though I never met him in life. Rest In Peace, my friend.
Thank you so much for your great tribute to a great human being.

His videos led me down the rabbit hole so many years ago now. I also found his spiritual transmission to be inspiring. I now wonder if his granddaughter will take up the mantle -- models are often strong photographers. Thanks!

I ordered a copy of the book. Because of you, Matt Day, Alex Kilbee, and others, I have become a collector of photography books. I love looking at the images and reading the words. They inspire me to pick up the camera and shoot something.

Very nice tribute to John Free. I've being following him for years. Since the first time I saw his videos, his passion. Was one of the 1st to buy his book and have it sent to Ireland. Stood in the spot where he took the photo of the double decker bus going over the bridge in the '60s while he was on honeymoon with Wendy. Thoughts & prayers for his family.
