Have you tried executing Enkei Gyaku Tsuki?
Oss! We don't use Enkei Gyaku Zuki but we have similar to that which is Tate Shuto Uke then followed Gyaku Zuki. One example is in our Gojoshiho Sho kata. There are certain movements in Kyokushin that are unique and different with Shotokan.
Have you practiced Uchi Uke Gedan Barai?
Oss! Yes, Uchi Uke first then followed by Gedan Barai or the other way around. I don't know if I answered your question correctly.
How about this po? Your left arm is in the uchi uke position, while the right arm is in the gedan barai position. You do uchi uke with the right arm, and do gedan barai with the left hand, at the same time. Keep in mind that when the arms form an X, the right arm must be in front of the left arm, and then the right arm must be in uchi uke position, and the left arm must be in gedan barai position. To execute the technique again, make an X (The left arm must be in front of the right arm.), and then position the left arm in uchi uke and position the right arm in gedan barai position. There are a lot of meanings of this kihon, so I cannot tell an example/demonstration of this kihon po.
@@edgardo9003 Oss! thank you for the clarification. We have this in our shotokan katas, Heian Sandan and in Tekki Sandan. We call this Kosa Uke or commonly known as cross block. There are several applications with this block.
