    Thanks man, helped a lot. Just started putting mine on today, super easy except for drilling the hole. To anyone doing this ffs wear safety glasses at a minimum and goggles preferably, and be careful touching any metal shavings - they are sharp and lodge in your finger like a sliver.

    I put one of those on my 2006 GMC Yukon. It has worked great. I bought mine in 2015 and back then they were made in Mexico I believe - sad they went to China also.

    Were you able to put the skid plate back on? I have a 95 two door with a 6" BDS lift and 24X14 wheels on 35's and its scary to drive. i put a new steering gear box, upgraded the steering shift with out the rag joint, new pit man arm, new idler arm, new inner and outer tie rods, new ball joints, new spindles and upper control arms that came with then lift and did the alignment but I still have a lot of play. i ordered this kit and i'm really hoping this steering stabilizer helps me...it should be delivered today. If not i might need to get a different wheel setup.

    • @TheBossXVI
      @TheBossXVI  4 роки тому

      Damm bro thats what I was scared of if I lifted the yukon and my set up has no off set and no the skid plate is still in the garage.

      I have a 6.5 BDS Coilover with no steering stabilizer but I also did a Kryptonite Ultimate Front End package, wheel bearings, and lower ball joints. I do have play but not nearly as much when it was OEM. I still want to get my steering more stable. I might have to make a custom so that the skid plate can go back on. I was thinking more inline to welding the parts on and just be able to swamp the steering stabilizer shock when I needed too. Or custom skid plate or both. Thanks for this video now I know where to start.

      @@TheBossXVI have you got rid of the rag joint in the steering shaft? i noticed alot of play in mine i put in a 90s jeep grand cheeroke shaft fits nice with a little modifications. i have 20inch wheels on 37inch tires with some good poke out passed the fenders + 9inch lift. i deffinitly think the stock steering boxes are crap and the remans just as bad iv only herd good about the red head pumps but i havnt tried myself. i want to add dual stabilizers i think that would help alot.
