Cool vid🎥👍I saw one of these Champion motor graders the other day with its wing assembly completely detached. Service truck guy and operator didn't look happy:/
MACHINES EVERYWHERE yeah I guess not, a lot of time wasted and you know how that saying goes! I havnt seen a grader dispatched with a serrated blade in over 10 years. These old champions are great
Jeepers, I just assembled a blade with those rotating carbide inserts and they don't want them run vertically but on a back angle so they can rotate to normalize wear.
Reviewing Playing & More RPM thank you! Yeah pushing real good. Before I got the camera out the sounds that were coming off that blade were awful lol. Thanks for watching
Allan Vaneste homeowner is responsible for cleaning up but in this case there was a backhoe cleaning up. I think maybe because of the windrow is a lot of ice but I could be wrong
Lauriaul it was Shearer Cres and Harmon way. Yeah This was a first in a long time for me so I jumped on it to film. The more I think about it maybe back in Nepean days was the last time.
Chaz Man in attempt to peel up some ice from the road. As well leaves a grooved surface for improved safety. We don’t see it used very often around here
God old graders!!! reminds me of Québec City. J'adore!!
A lot of ppl say that! Check out one of my most recent real old beauty
@@burnuts007 I will!!!
Great video...sure miss seeing Champion graders where I live!
Thanks! Yes I agree they are slowing being retired! Thanks for watching
@@burnuts007 hard to believe it's been around 20 years since the last Champion was sold here in Manitoba

@@burnuts007 They are nice machines. Definitely don't see the serrated edge blade often.

Where is all that snow at
Awesome Video Buddy!!
Sebastian Warth thanks Sebi!
Great job, some hard pushing, was that because of Ice build up? Very nice video...

Do you think these tips are carbide or steel or what??
Does the city clean the ridge in the driveways or is up to the homeowner?

You do not have to tilt your blade with ice blades on as you r trapping the snow from coming off the blade ! Put the wing down and widen as u go !
He has it pitched forward to keep from breaking something if he catches a manhole or water valve
Shut up
Whats the propusor ?
In which area of the city is that nice shot that's
Lauriaul this is in kanata south I’m not sure of the street I’m not from kanata
The reason why I'm asking it's not something the city does a lot especially in the core or the east
Lauriaul it was Shearer Cres and Harmon way. Yeah This was a first in a long time for me so I jumped on it to film. The more I think about it maybe back in Nepean days was the last time.
Someone want to tell the neighbors to move their cars parked in the streets?
Why do they use the serrated blade?

Burnuts here in Finland, we use em quite often.
Still used a lot in rural southern Ontario
It’s called “road salt”.
Mike Barbacovi how well does road salt work at -25C for weeks?
Mike Barbacovi common sense tells you that doesn’t always work when it’s below -15
oussama mouessah from algeria i want help to get job on grader i have 3 years news
Tell thw city to use sharq edges. Much better blade than this
I’ve seen these before I think. The cutting edge is the actual holder now the this edge has a quick attachment?
@@burnuts007 yea, can change it on the go, the sharq actually does a bit of plowing as well not just cutting. Also cuts a bit better
