Hi all Can you also go through the basics about attaching equipment to taps...how to actually empty and clean cassettes.. How to change bulbs..and best cleaning products for fridge fire and walls and services Cheers eddy
This was invaluable. Thanks. Could you do a slow one please. I feel overwhelmed. I know not everything applied to my van but it was a bit quick for me. I have taken over from my elderly husband in doing the van and it is daunting. Thank you.
Seems s good basic set up but I noticed you plugged the electric in the wrong way round should always plug into the van first then in to the power supply otherwise you are carrying a live cable.
Seems an awfully long way to pump the water from the freshwater tank at the back to the boiler near the front then draw it all at the taps which are at the back. A confusing situation on the autotrail is the gas control for the boiler is actually next to the electric habitat heater complete with thermostat yet there's also an electric thermostat control on the heater itself. !! They do seem to put the electric isolation switches and gas taps in the most awkward places.
im as thick as if your rough camping and your not hooked up and youve two leasuire batteries and your tv is 12 volts, can you run the tv and lights etc 👍
Would it be a good idea to have a jackery Explorer particularly if wild camping really enjoy your video's. I am saving up for a Romahome and will certainly come and see you.
How much does a van like this go for these days? I might not need quite that much seating but the little table area and loft bed space is exactly what im looking for
Is there a department within some motorhome company's that deliberately looks for ways to complicate the design of beds you have to make up. Perhaps there's a patent on the most simple easy to use designs or methods of erecting a semi permanent bed
Excellent intro for newbies like us. We bought an older Laika Ecovip last month and have been working things out bit by bit. This pretty much confirmed everything we had found out ourselves, which is reassuring.
I have 18 months left on the mortgage, once this is finished the plan is to purchase a motor home and spend some quality time with the better half, I must say your video(s) are easy to follow and good honest advice is freely available to one and all, when the time comes, I promise you will be the first port of call.
Picking ours up in 3 days, you explained brilliantly but got a bit overwhelmed, I'm sure we'll manage after a few journeys, thank you and will definitely be watching a few more times lol
I luv my motor home. Its fantastic heading off with all youre peaks .looking out onto sea with your glass wine table &chairs and your we small covering over part off your motor home 😀😀😀😀😀
Use the van regularly and you won’t have a problem. Don’t be someone who keeps the van parked on the drive most of the time. If we are going to leave the van alone for two weeks or more (rare) then we drain it. Twice a year we give it a good clean (puriclean) and in 20 years we’ve not had a problem. Similarly give the waste tank a good clean/flush every six months or less.
Purchased our Sundance 590 three weeks ago and haven't had the courage to dabble with the settings. Thanks to this great video im ready to get started. 👏
Hi Jason, very informative and precise. Slowly moving forward to purchasing a motorhome and with your help the move should go a lot smoother. Thank you and look forward to hearing more advice in the future. Best regards Glyn
Like others here , I'm a novice camper-vanner. I just bought a 2nd hand camper van (Fiat Ducato based 4 berth) to use during my retirement and although I'm a tradesman electrician, and (I hope) would have been able to eventually suss the systems out , I found your overview very informative and helpful , thanks a lot
What a Top Bloke, makes all his YT enjoyable and very informative x
Thanks Shaun 👍
Suprisingly entertaining and informative. I don't even have a motorhome but enjoyed it all the same. Keep em coming.

The water tanks connected to the thigh bone, the thigh bones connected to the water tank...
Hi All, what price are talking about for a secondhand reasonable good van in the UK similar to the type Jason is demonstrating ?
How safe are motorhomes? Ie if I am strapping my kids to the rear seats how are they protected from side impacts etc? Highly unlikely I know.
Safer in the sense your seated higher up off the road.

Yes, even with 1 battery.
Tv brightness uses energy if you watch count dracula it uses less battery
Excellent Tutorial, feel like I'm ready to go now 👍
Go for it!👍

How long would you recommend the water in the tank can be kept before it goes stale or needs changing. As always, good advice and guidance.Cheers.
