Excellent analysis. I’ve been watching Fred since high school and the man’s been cool as a cucumber and playing the same brand of ball since the whole time. His ace is always been his vision and processing. He’s never been the best athlete on the court, even at that level. But he’s simply better than even the vast majority of NBA at seeing and understanding the game. He sees things before others or that others miss and makes plays someone with his level of size and athleticism shouldn’t be able to make. If he had even average NBA size and tools, he’d be an all-pro instead of a finge All-Star. One advantage he has physically is that he’s around 195 at his 6 foot, which means he’s a lot denser from a muscle standpoint than a lot of other guys, which is why he can be physical in the paint and on D. The only thing I don’t like is people looking at Fred and saying it’s all just hard work and grit that got him where he is. His level of vision and feel is a innate gift just like having a 7’ wingspan or 40 inch vert is.
Great video. Im someone who plays basketball for fun . But, wants to always improve for pick up games and just for the love of the game . Im 5 ft 8 170lbs. Would you recommend someone like Vanvleet or Lowry for me to study to improve my game or to be like ?
Glad you enjoyed the video! And yes Vanvleet and Lowry are definitely good players for you to study. In pick up games people love to play with a player that is unselfish, plays with heart & grit, plays good defense and hustles which is all something you can learn from studying Vanvleet and Lowry. Another skill you can learn from Lowry is how he finishes around the rim against taller defenders despite being an undersized guard. Steph Curry, Trae Young, and Chris Paul are also great undersized guards to study when it comes to finishing around the rim.
@@dhzhoops7423 Good advice you have. I live here in the SF Bay Area and Steph Curry is a fan favorite lol. I admire his shooting ability even being a Raptors fan. Do you have any videos on Lowry or thought of doing a player analysis like you did for VanVleet with him ? I also was told being undersized , being an elite ball handling is a must have skill .
Steph Curry is also a fan favorite here in Canada as well! And yes being a great ball handler is a must have for an undersized guard but you also need a consistent jumpshot as well. I might do either a player analysis on Lowry or one about a specific skill or move of he's in the future. But I do have two videos on Chris Paul that you can check out. One is a breakdown of his performance in Game 4 against the Nuggets and the other video is about a signature move of he's that he uses to create space and get a shot off in isolations against bigger defenders.
Another dope drop bruv, this analysis go crazy. I definitely don’t see him utilize the floater too often 🤧🔥💯
Thanks bruv 💯
There's totally still a spot in the NBA for small guards like Freddy and Lowry
Yeah I feel like he’s very effective. I think he’d be more effective with a floater game and it’ll open up passes and alley to the roll man.

@@dhzhoops7423 I also admire Chris Paul and his mid range game . Mid range king for Phoenix!

Next, do a breakdown of CP3!
Good 👍
Better shot selection this year!
