Fred VanVleet was READY for His Moment. How Can You Be?

- There comes a time where you will get your opportunity. In basketball or another walk of life, it's going to be there. Some take advantage and put their preparation to work. Some don't. Some simply are not prepared. But Fred VanVleet was READY. He was a dark horse NBA Finals MVP candidate, not because of his stats, but because of how he executed, sparked the team, and hit some of the clutchest shots we've seen in years. He defended a two-time NBA MVP very well. And nobody expected it. Check out how he did it. #AttentionToDetail🔬

I’m swear VanVleet was playing like an All-Star in the finals.
He got 1 vote for finals mvp even
you still have that pfp?
Van Vleet needs to get more credit for his performance... great video
He was so tuff and clutch. Shout outs to him,Quinn cook, and Kyle Lowry the six feet and under team!
You could tell he worked hard. When he got elbowed in the face and forced to sub out, he didn’t seem hurt at all, just mad he had to leave the game
He confirmed that he was laying there like that cause he was keeping his teeth from falling down his throat
thats how tough fred is.
He is very fundamentally sound. Search for his one on one footage. Nothing extra. Simple moves. Very collected. React to defenses. Completely dominated guys taller than him.
Captain Obvious yeah I saw that one on one footage that was released 2 years ago with Jordan Poole and van fleet. He just so smooth and simple in scoring and getting to spots so quick that it just blew my mind. I’ve been watching him closely since then and he’s finally got the limelight he deserved
since the birth of his son hes been unstoppable. im really happy for him
This channel always put up crazy content 🔥
Agreed
Siakam and Fred are probably my favorite players. They work so hard to get to where they are now
New heights for him this coming season. All Star to be along with Pascal
This BEEN Freddie V since Day 1, he's been shining and he got me into basketball back in his Wichita State Days. Steady Freddie!
Biggest underdog in the history of basketball
FRED DEAD REDEMPTION!
“Prepare for the moment, then stick to how u prepare” that is my new motto
Thanks for this one. A lot it's sed of the MVP and the starts but people always forget or tend to forget the role players, the other 4 guys.
I am thankful for this channel.
It always put me in the zone and ready for some 🏀⛹🏼♂️
Best channel on UA-cam. How u not on at least 5 mill subs yet 😭😭😭
Basketball Basics are the best one player can know and he showed it to everyone! No need for sophisticated moves or dribbles. The easier the better.
He totally deserved that 1 vote for Finals MVP.
Since game 3 of the ecf (in my opinion) FVV Sr. Was a different beast
I wish there was film from the Bucks series, because that is where he started going off and there was no stopping him by the time he got to the Finals series
FVV, despite not being particularly tall nor athletic, really clamped down hard on Steph Curry during the finals. Definitely a Raptors X Factor and instrumental in preventing GSW's top scorer - on a banged up team - from getting too many open looks. Fred's 1 on 1 defense gave Steph some contested shots and his worst stats of the year when compared to other defenders... which is saying a lot, considering how much Steph moves and zigzags even when he doesn't have the ball. Lesser players would have had trouble keeping up. VanVleet plays with heart and - combined with his underdog undrafted story - is my favourite Raptors player.
UNDRAFTED.
Where do y'all seeing Kawhi going?
I think he's staying
Staying
Clippers 😁😁😁😂🤣
I love this dude's game. Im a lil guy and i like how he shoots
It's crazy how he redeemed himself earlier this playoffs he was putting up donuts and some were asking whether he even belonged in the league
For real i also thought that he's a choker in the playoffs and then he just decided to knock every shot. #SteadyFreddie
FVV is my man. Love him. Cheers.
Fred is super skill. And deserved this chip
My NBA Finals MVP. My man 'the hard worker' Van Vleet 💪💪
motivation🤒💯🖤
Fred💞❤
During the season FVV sometimes forced things. There was a stretch where he was absolutely brutal. Even coming into the playoffs, there was a lot of uncertainty about the bench.
"Confidence comes from preperation" Kobe.
Van Vleet and Siakam were a big deal. Kyle coming out in Game 7 fearless did not hurt either.
🔥 vid
Toronto's got way more weapons than people give them credit for and they play as a team, on both ends of the floor. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them repeat.
Fred did great job even though shots were going in. Hope you do siakam. He played hella of game.
Fred a cold blooded killah
great vid
Unpopular opinion: Luka is a 6’7 FVF with a higher usage rate🤷🏿♂️
goat
Damn Drake balled out
(815) stand up!
VanGOAT
🔥
His nickname is "Steady Freddy". I mean..
please have great audio on your videos
How do you feel about Kobe stealing your show idea ?
Kyle Lowry attention to detail
Your not getting that from a video. It’s 100% confidence, you either have it or you don’t.
SloanKetter44 building confidence is possible
Building confidence through repetition is majority of how confidence is built
Chaotic Madness yeah im just saying building confidence is possible it’s not about « you either have it or you don’t »
CrazyBaller take it from a professional basketball player “ you either have it or you don’t” there’s no in between when it comes to what this video is talking about “stepping up” you either do it or don’t. You can work on it but there’s no “half stepping up”
CrazyBaller and your not getting that from a video
Also a new father seeing things from different perspective?
The one who dislike is a warriors fan
This makes me wonder as to why people are excited for Zion Williams, when Fred Vanvleet is undrafted and won the championship. Any of the players on the draft list has the potential to make you win.
Bradley Beal attention to detail??
Summary: HAVE KIDS
how to be like fred
have a new born baby
NBA drake
Nah toronto got lucky cuz kd is out. Aint no moment
Because of his son for sure :))
Are you saying VanVleet was the MVP????? 🤔🤔
Nah fam but he definitely really clutch in the playoff
