Caliray mascara is my number one high-end mascara. I find that with tubing mascaras it’s best to just apply one layer and keep applying til it’s the thickness you want. It doesn’t seem to apply well if you let it dry and then try to add another layer. It always comes off easily with warm water for me. Maybe you just got a bad batch? All that being said, I find the ELF lash extender is a good drugstore dupe so I usually just repurchase that. So much cheaper! 😊
I feel like I always layer too much with tubing mascaras! I don’t know what it is but I just want to go in and keep layering it over and over. 🙈 I do like the elf one though so maybe I will have to stick with it! It’s really good to know that’s a great alternative!
I purchased the Makeup By Mario Moonlight pallet because I am super fair and these flat out claim they are buildable. I sometimes have problems with pallets being hard for me to blend out because the pigments too strong against my skin tone. I will say Natasha Denona is my favorite. But something just spoke to me with his palette
I picked up the denessa blush set and let me tell you i love it !!! Its so beautiful i love the spiced latte shade perfect for fall or any day really. Sooo good! Mind you this is my first time trying anything from her. So impressed with the formula! Its a must try especially for the variety and the price.

The Patrick Ta duo's are $42 a piece. I've seen so many people say they wish it was a full palette. It would be really expensive. I would bet at least $150 if not closer to $200
I just read a comment today saying that too! I don’t know why I was thinking it would be less expensive but $42 is pretty pricey. Based on the swatches, I do think the formula looks like it will be better/higher quality than his other metallics so I’m curious about them. 👀

Even though I'm so tempted to buy multiple, I am very glad he did duo's because it's much more cost effective than the alternative. The Makeup By Mario palette is the only new holiday palette I'm getting 😅 I actively tell people NOT to buy Patrick Ta because my palette from them started growing something within half a year of owning it. And my lovely Ethereal Eyes palette is going just as strong as when I first bought it.
Caliray is my all time favorite mascara now too! I was loving the tower 28 one and actually ended up just sticking to this one. I do however use the Dior backstage mascara primer first then immediately put this mascara on. I use the revitalash eye serum nightly too. Not sure if it’s the combo but it’s so good!!
Caliray flaked like crazy on me and also did not wash off that easily. We are usually aligned on the tubing (and other) mascaras. I’m getting the DM blush set. Between that, the Kosas set, and RMS launching at Ulta, I will be officially stocked up until next year.
I bought the Moonlight palette from Makeup by Mario because it's cool-toned and darker. You can hardly find that anymore. Everything is warm toned and neutral. We have a billion neutral palettes. And Natasha Denona's stuff always pulls too warm on me.
The new ND palette is not even a *little tempting to me since I am not a purple/pink shadow wearer in the least. I’ve had to talk myself out of the ND I Need a Warm palette, and caved and ordered the new Mario Ethereal Eyes Moonlight (basically because I knew I would have major FOMO if it sold out before I got a chance to order it). I have the original Ethereal and the matte neutrals from Makeup by Mario and I really like how user-friendly his formulas are, even if they are a little more ‘dusty’ (powdery) than either ND or Patrick Ta’s.
I am definitely getting the ND Roxa palette. i have not purchased an ND palette since my dream, and the only ones i have other than that are Glam, Xenon mini and Glam face palette as none of the others appealed to me much. But this roxa one looks gorgeous as I love pinks and shimmers, pity it's limited ed, as I usually wait for sales to get palettes

Literally debating SO MANY things for the Sephora sale…… like the makeup by Mario palette (which retails for 92$ here in Canada, and I’m not sure I’m gonna be buying that for, THAT amount of money, even on a discount) but I also really am dying to get some of the Barbie and Patrick Ta things, and maybe the eyeshadow duos (if they become available at the time of the sale)
TBH, the ND Roxa looks like a flashback to 2016 makeup, which is maybe where trends are going back to? It just feels kind of dated in today’s landscape with lighter, more neutral, natural makeup. I think it would have had more mass appeal if the mattes were true neutral browns with some pops of purple as opposed to all the pinks and random orange shade. I’ve never followed trends so this wasn’t my jam then or now 😂
It definitely looks like a palette I would have loved in 2016! In fact, it kind of reminds me of ColourPop’s It My Pleasure which was my all time favorite palette for such a long time back then. I almost wish it had a mix of cooler toned neutrals with more pops of purple rather than so much pink! I do like it, but I feel like I won’t wear it as much as I would if it was more purple/neutral than purple/pink.
10:59 - slowed down to .5 speed because I was trying to figure out how the swatches were the exact same top to bottom. Nice to see they were real swatches . I think Mario's best palette was his ABH palette (back when ABH was good) because the colors were gorgeous. So his color eye with ABH's formula. My favorite tubing mascara is still the original - Blinc. I first found it when it had the original name. The name didn't make sense back then. It was weird: same brand name but they called the mascara "Kiss Me".
Hear me out most mascaras we will hate the first couple of tries I promise! I have this theory that its the fact that at first they are too wet and liquidy and everytime u open them to use it air gets in making the product more thick I believe that cus I hate most mascara at first I feel they do nothing to my lashes and after 3-4 uses they become my favorite ! Idk though might just be reaching 😂😅

I have Mesh as a transition and tender built up in the crease. I think I used a super tiny amount of Silhouette in the outer corner and then Delilah all over the lid and a ton of Mia on top! 💗

I went to Sephora yesterday and there were so many products that I hadn't gotten to play around with yet and now I want them soooo bad. Edit: I love the Caliray mascara. It's amazing and it makes me look like my lashes are insanely long. It's also super easy to remove.

The only set that i got so far was the fenty riri set. It has the gloss bomb, the new gloss bomb stick and the liquid lipstick. I don't know if i will shop the sale nothing is really interesting to me atm.
Have not tried the Calli Rae mascara but did try the elf tubing one, absolutly hated it. Made my lashes stick together, would not build and the little bits of rubber that come off when you wash your face grossed me out.
I LOVE the Haus Labs lip glaze, BUT the packaging leaks! It would be such a great purse lippie, but I can’t keep it in my purse because it leaks out of the tube and gets all over the place. I don’t know if I got a dud because I never hear anyone talking about this problem. Leaky tubes are a huge pet peeve and turn me off to a product no matter how great a formula. I won’t repurchase because of that.

I'll probably get the INaN from ND on Black Friday's. I also have some points, so I'll see if I get something else (I don’t think you can use points on discounts on BF, but idk) or use them on INaN if the deal it’s not good. As for Roxa, it's pretty, but I need swatches, looks, comparisons. The whole deal! 😅 Also, Jen Phelps showed a pic of the mario palette, next to a Doll10 one and they look pretty similar.

Patrick’s Rosie palette molded on me and SO many others and even around 6 mos (I store my make up safely and consciously) so I won’t buy from him again…may try Mario but definitely love the ND Roxa. I honestly think Patrick is really overrated, but you seem like you think that about Mario.😂🤷🏼♀️ we all have our experiences and opinions. Love the video ❤
I would definitely be mad if mine molded too! It’s way too expensive for that to happen so I don’t blame you for not wanting to spend your money on his shadows again! 😭 That happened to me with my Tower 28 cream blushes so even though I really like the formula, I can’t justify buying them anymore.

Sephora has a 12 Day Advent Calendar that looks pretty good! I don’t know if it’s on Sephora’s website but I saw it on Kohl’s website so it might be a Sephora/Kohl’s exclusive. I also know Makeup Revolution does one that usually seems pretty good too!
I know this is an unpopular opinion but I’m not impressed with Charlotte Tilbury. The beauty wands are messy and the setting spray is fine but nothing special. The “iconic” lip liner is dry and unflattering on me. I keep feeling like I’m missing the draw of her products. I honestly prefer ELF at this point, and so many other drugstore lines.
I don't think I'' be getting any of these, even though it's tempting. I know I don't need anything really. My makeup collection is getting too big for me personally and thanks to my anxious ADHD brain, I find it overwhelming to make decisions every day when there are too many choices. If anything though, I'll probably wait and get a couple beauty things just during black friday.
I understand! I like to have a smaller “makeup collection” I use each season because I can get overwhelmed if there’s too much to choose from and then I just use the same things over and over. There usually are some really great Black Friday discounts! I even saw a few brands do 40%-50% off last year.
Makeup By Mario kind of bores me. All of his eyeshadow palettes have been done. I don't see the hype. Everyone is tired with these shades in a palette. But why does he get away with it and everyone else gets a bad attitude. Now his other makeup is good. Formula I want.
I'm not into Patrick Ta, but I'm interested in the two pack shadow! But it depends how expensive they are and I can wait for reviews. I have a ton of palletes and he's underwhelming. I just watched the ad he did for the shades and they aren't that interesting. I just expect them to fall flat like the rest of his stuff. Stop cutting corners and make good products now that you have money!!

Denona’s codes work only once, unfortunately. I’ve run out of them. She also has higher prices on her website than anywhere else, so I end up buying from Beautylish. Less pricy and no need to scramble to find any code. I find her stingy.
Purple is probably my favorite eyeshadow color, but I don’t like all purple palettes. I think it’s because there are usually a lot of red leaning purples in them - like too many. More for everyone else! 😝

I thought the Caliray mascara was ok. I felt like it did very little for my lashes, but I didn’t notice problems with clumping or removal.

I'll probably get the INaN from ND on Black Friday's. I also have some points, so I'll see if I get something else (I don’t think you can use points on discounts on BF, but idk) or use them on INaN if the deal it’s not good.
As for Roxa, it's pretty, but I need swatches, looks, comparisons. The whole deal! 😅
Also, Jen Phelps showed a pic of the mario palette, next to a Doll10 one and they look pretty similar.

Patrick’s Rosie palette molded on me and SO many others and even around 6 mos (I store my make up safely and consciously) so I won’t buy from him again…may try Mario but definitely love the ND Roxa. I honestly think Patrick is really overrated, but you seem like you think that about Mario.😂🤷🏼♀️ we all have our experiences and opinions. Love the video ❤
I would definitely be mad if mine molded too! It’s way too expensive for that to happen so I don’t blame you for not wanting to spend your money on his shadows again! 😭 That happened to me with my Tower 28 cream blushes so even though I really like the formula, I can’t justify buying them anymore.
Random, but I've never bought an advent calendar from any brand. What would be "the one" to try for my first in your opinion? P.s. I like drugstore and high end but I don't like charlotte tilbury...😂
Sephora has a 12 Day Advent Calendar that looks pretty good! I don’t know if it’s on Sephora’s website but I saw it on Kohl’s website so it might be a Sephora/Kohl’s exclusive. I also know Makeup Revolution does one that usually seems pretty good too!

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I’m not impressed with Charlotte Tilbury. The beauty wands are messy and the setting spray is fine but nothing special. The “iconic” lip liner is dry and unflattering on me. I keep feeling like I’m missing the draw of her products. I honestly prefer ELF at this point, and so many other drugstore lines.
Her eyebrow pencil is terrible!!! Waste of money 😢

I don't think I'' be getting any of these, even though it's tempting. I know I don't need anything really. My makeup collection is getting too big for me personally and thanks to my anxious ADHD brain, I find it overwhelming to make decisions every day when there are too many choices. If anything though, I'll probably wait and get a couple beauty things just during black friday.
I understand! I like to have a smaller “makeup collection” I use each season because I can get overwhelmed if there’s too much to choose from and then I just use the same things over and over. There usually are some really great Black Friday discounts! I even saw a few brands do 40%-50% off last year.

Makeup By Mario kind of bores me. All of his eyeshadow palettes have been done. I don't see the hype. Everyone is tired with these shades in a palette. But why does he get away with it and everyone else gets a bad attitude. Now his other makeup is good. Formula I want.
I'm not into Patrick Ta, but I'm interested in the two pack shadow! But it depends how expensive they are and I can wait for reviews. I have a ton of palletes and he's underwhelming.
I just watched the ad he did for the shades and they aren't that interesting. I just expect them to fall flat like the rest of his stuff. Stop cutting corners and make good products now that you have money!!

Denona’s codes work only once, unfortunately. I’ve run out of them. She also has higher prices on her website than anywhere else, so I end up buying from Beautylish. Less pricy and no need to scramble to find any code. I find her stingy.
I love ND but I hate purple!! My wallet cant help itself though and im sure it'll end up in my ND collection!

Purple is probably my favorite eyeshadow color, but I don’t like all purple palettes. I think it’s because there are usually a lot of red leaning purples in them - like too many. More for everyone else! 😝
