man this game is very nostalgic i played it a lot on ps one... and i never knew he had a remake made for ps2!! I was all this time unaware of the existence of this version of the game for PS2 lol
This is Crash Bandicoot but mixed with Disney. I remember playing the PS1 version of this game and I would break down in tears constantly due to Donald falling many times. I didn't even do the time attacks until I tried the PS2 version.
5:16 Magic Mirror: Donald heads for Ducky Mountain, where one can go camping and have s’mores. There’s nothing quite like experiencing the great outdoors. Donald must steer clear of skunks and bears. He’ll need to make sure his sailor suit doesn’t get any tears. While here, Donald gets to thinking how nice it’ll be to get some fresh air, and all the sights he can see.
2:57 Magic Mirror: But will this dilemma make Gyro Gearloose stop and quit? Of course not. He has Donald to assist him, so he’ll stick with it. The adventure begins, there is no time to waste. When it comes to rescuing, Donald must make haste.
7:16 Magic Mirror: The milkshake helps Donald feel right as rain! When he’s Happy Donald, he doesn’t feel any pain! This creamy treat’s a very important tool. You drink it in order to gain more elated fuel.
6:19 Magic Mirror: Poor Donald, his temper always gets in his way. That’s what comes with having a really bad day. He takes two hits, he must start again. But the power ups he collects will make him feel better, then.
4:20 Magic Mirror: Gyro Gearloose has invented a vast teleportation system. Through its many locations Donald can get to enemies who he feels have so dissed him. As we begin, the path to Ducky Mountain is clear. But as the machine powers up, more routes will appear.
16:38 Magic Mirror: Special moves are given by spelling out the Special word. From your nephews’ beaks, that is what you’ve heard. Remember the buttons to do every move right. And soon, with Merlock, you’ll put up a fight.
1:06 Magic Mirror: From all time and distance, across matter and space, your powers have summoned me to promptly show my face. We open our adventure in the house of Donald Duck, whom, as you all remember, always finds himself in bad luck.
8:08 Magic Mirror: Donald just discovered a small golden thread. Take it, O Feathered One, and don’t drop dead. This shining, golden item makes an outfit for you. It’ll help you look good, and you’ll hope it does, too.
12:18 Magic Mirror: Enemies and unsavory characters alike fear a duck with fires. But Donald must save the one he most desires. Donald must test different ways to evade all the attacks and unfriendly advances they’ve made.
7:41 Magic Mirror: Another useful tool for which no blueprints exist is the orange juice energizer, which is good, I insist. It helps you get hyper and break through walls. This is your thing, Donald, so you make the calls.
So is this game basically a Crash Bandicoot clone with Donald Duck in it? The best Donald Duck game I’ve ever played is Quackshot on the Sega Genesis-beautiful graphics and sound!
5:39 Magic Mirror: Gears are used for machines, and are so fine and dandy. So collect them, you never know when they’ll come in handy. As you do, on letter of the word Special appears on the screen. Talk to Donald’s nephews, and you’ll see what I mean.
Because if the guys from TV DID, They would be beat down to death in public, by a crowd of raging feminists when less expected, who would ALSO Depredate the building of duckopolis news, who would accuse them of being sexists, nazists, fascists, taxist, marxists, taxidermists, anything else with "ists" in the end of the word, of thinking girls can't protect themselves, ETC and yadda yadda.... :P
5:31 Magic Mirror: Jumping with the X button is the first thing to try out. It helps you get over obstacles, no doubt. The double jumping is for areas that are too high to reach, so these skills from you I do beseech. Donald often attacks with his own classic rage. He can do so with Circle, it’s like ripping out a page.

Ah! Donald Duck... I've been playing this game on PS1.
it is a remake of the game that was made for PS1... now made for PS2 and with some graphical improvements in stages and gameplay...
This basically this is an *Disney* interpretation of *Crash Bandicoot*
I didn’t forget about this
I remember having this game on the N 64
Same here
1:50 Magic Mirror: Indeed, Merlock The Magician has conjured up a terrible scheme. To construct a device to halt the world’s peaceful theme.
1:53 Magic Mirror: Two rivals competing for love, but which one will win? And that, dear viewers, is where our adventure will begin.
The very first Disney video game for PS2.
2:29 Magic Mirror: Donald’s made for Daisy, Daisy’s made for him too. So who’s going to assist Donald? That someone is you.
2:20 Magic Mirror: The girl has been spotted, and is in Merlock’s wrath. One whiff, and I can tell he hasn’t taken a bath.
6:19 Magic Mirror: Poor Donald, his temper always gets in his way. That’s what comes with having a really bad day. He takes two hits, he must start again. But the power ups he collects will make him feel better, then.

Huh? Why didn’t the Dreamcast get this version instead of a slightly improved PS1 port?!
9:56 Magic Mirror: The extra try token gives Donald a new life. He can finish the adventure without any stress or strife.
1:06 Magic Mirror: From all time and distance, across matter and space, your powers have summoned me to promptly show my face. We open our adventure in the house of Donald Duck, whom, as you all remember, always finds himself in bad luck.
Hopefully for a remaster for classics.
8:08 Magic Mirror: Donald just discovered a small golden thread. Take it, O Feathered One, and don’t drop dead. This shining, golden item makes an outfit for you. It’ll help you look good, and you’ll hope it does, too.

Yep, pretty much, and funny enough there are a lot of differences between the versions of this game.
5:39 Magic Mirror: Gears are used for machines, and are so fine and dandy. So collect them, you never know when they’ll come in handy. As you do, on letter of the word Special appears on the screen. Talk to Donald’s nephews, and you’ll see what I mean.
2:08 Magic Mirror: Unfortunately, Merlock is too keen of hearing. He can already tell in his palace someone’s appearing.
Merlock is like the Doctor Neo Cortex of this game.
Why. The hell. Would anyone send a single female reporter into an evil magician's lair unarmed and without protection?
Because if the guys from TV DID, They would be beat down to death in public, by a crowd of raging feminists when less expected, who would ALSO Depredate the building of duckopolis news, who would accuse them of being sexists, nazists, fascists, taxist, marxists, taxidermists, anything else with "ists" in the end of the word, of thinking girls can't protect themselves, ETC and yadda yadda.... :P
For a good scoop of course

Por que no juegas bob esponja batalla por fondo de bikini de ps2 o el remake
1:12 Magic Mirror: A report is to be broadcasted on the family TV. And who’s the reporter? Daisy Duck, naturally.
13:27 Magic Mirror: See if you can make it before each level ends. There is a time limit in each one, my friends.
Espero se animen a un remake para PS4 pS5 de esta joyita olvidada!
7:36 Magic Mirror: Checkpoints help Donald start over again. He’ll be back on his webbed feet before he can count to ten.
