All I want is a decent life. When I came to Ford Motor Co I dreamt of a life like my grandfather. He worked but he gained a decent living . He has a house, cars and extra money to save and go on vacations. Right now Ford isn’t living up to its promises. They told my grandfather is that we would get back what we sacrificed and I’m still waiting. I just want to live. I just want to save. I just want to retire with dignity. I just want my kids to feel taken care of and loved not only by money but by time too

@RobertLupo Currently $32 an hr after 8 years is top pay for most. Skilled trades are higher, but very few in numbers. No pension, No healthcare at retirement
go work for em, can u live on $16 an hr, $32 an hr isn't shit today, I know because that's what I make with gm, I can't afford a new truck, I have no house payment, no car payment, have perfect credit, I have no bills except a zero turn lawnmower payment, $181 a month, and I can't afford a new truck unless I want to give up 2 checks a month, a $10 an hr raise would make it right, and that's just a start

They said that's the largest raise since 99'. They forgot to mention that people like me didn't get a raise for twelve years! Of course it the highest. The last two contracts were 6% over four years. This is why workers will get their way, GM and Ford won't want to lose market share to those competitors for long, so they'll give in to the UAW demands asap.

The unions have blindly supported the democrats for 50 years and now the democrats have allowed 7 million illegal immigrants to come in to the country so I’m thinking that they should allow all 7 million immigrants into the unions and effectively replace the workers who are complaining about being under paid. This will help the immigrant population and have a direct effect on the workers who voted for the party of immigrants. It’s a win win for America the union gets cheaper labor and immigrants get better jobs.
