@@tommy7576 It makes perfect sense because he's actually a folk singer, and has some solo albums he's done in the past. It's actually genius that he don't really need pitch correction live when he does synthpop, but it's more fitting for their style of music.

The attack and upper range eq on this kick is magic
The Midnight’s Kick EQ has always been a mystery to me. They have shown how they EQ their kick, but I don’t believe they’re showing the full thing.
There's probably some other settings like compression etc. that they are using to get that type of sound. Either way it's magic.
Could be some paracomp as well. I always use it, makes a huge difference.

Maybe the person is right now calling a friend from the 80s to help thumb it up. Maybe it will take a week, a month. You never know what can happen when you time travel. Maybe that thumb down was paid for and now is feeding a starving person. Could be a person's cat as well. Or even a naughty parakeet, ferret, or sugar glider. Stranger things have happened. Whatever the time, whatever the animal or deformed thumb, The Midnight is awesome and will likely survive that thumb down. One would think anyways.

Comet is new yet there was a snippet that got upload by Tim in December 2016 with a part of the song featured on.
