I have liked Watson since Clemson & believe that he got stuck in a mess w/women using language in IG hinting at sexual massages. He’s had 2 years to work on little things & even with that HUGE contract it looks like he didn’t spend a penny or any of the gobs of spare time on his hands to make sure that every ball that came out his hands was on target.
Sure, a little rust in understandable in timing & execution, but he appears to have also wasted a golden opportunity to perfect things within his control. Watson is a good man who’s been through a lot so he will get better but some of us still remember Joe Montana coming out after a similar time out of the game due to injury & he moved the sticks & threw TD passes. Yes it’s somewhat different because Montana knew the offense much better but Watson could’ve done things on his own to make sure some things were perfect when he got on the field. Disappointing.

I thought this was an insightful commentary, and I posted it because it hadn't been posted in full* without commentary and flamey headlines.
And I'm a life long Browns fan, hopeful that Watson can succeed on and off the field.
But he hasn't won me over yet. As it stands today I wouldn't allow my 20 year old daughter near him.
Here's how I see it:
1. He has to settle the last two lawsuits. He can't move on personally or professionally with lawsuits hanging over him.
2. Once they're settled, he needs to address the issues more frankly. He needs to show some self-perspective.
3. And he needs to show that same self-perspective about his play, which sucked on Sunday.
He knew it, we all knew it, but when asked, "How do you think did today?" he was still in the same denial mode:
"Overall just operational that's the biggest thing is just getting in and out the huddles, calling plays didn't have too many miscommunications with Kevin."
So you can huddle. You're gonna have to do better than that.

Some of these alleged victims who already settled their cases showed up to the Texans vs Browns game even though Deshaun “traumatized” them, they go and seek attention like they didn’t already settle their cases. Everybody wants to talk about the numbers but nobody wants to bring up how there is ZERO evidence that proves these women right. If this was one woman saying this we would not take it serious because of the lack of evidence, but the fact that these numbers are what they are, it’s the only reason why we take it so seriously, I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but this just sounds like a smart tactic by the lawyer to me.
