I miss it. I used to walk this route (more or less) daily from 2008-2016 before and after work. Our office moved after that, but I still did walk it maybe once every other week up until when the lockdown in March 2020.
I think I saw a drone video at the beginnng of the pandemic where the streets were totally empty. Nice to see some life to it again. Thanks for the video.

Dollarama, LCBO, Winners, Gimpmaster - I miss them all! Interesting poster - "I Sweat For Belonging", I think a lot of people in Toronto can relate to that...I would say full reopening will happen by the end of 2022-beginning 2023..The network at work keeping people calm...Well done Johnny! Would not mind watching you having dinner on the patio somewhere - interesting perspective ..

@@iseegoodandbad6758 You are totally right, Montreal is better dressed in Toronto because of its art scene. I don't think you can do any of those at a cannabis store. It basically skulk in get you dope and exit by the back door, so no one knows yours there. The stores are not even allowed to display anything on their storefront they are considered so dangerous by the government. At least the LCBO can display their wares in the front window.

The LCBO doesn't put liquor in their front windows on display so it can be seen from the outside, idk which LCBO's you've been to where that happens. The gov't considers cannabis stores so dangerous that they are giving thousands of licenses for new shops yearly, get used to the change mate. Also, fuck Starbucks, you chose to defend one of the worst corporations, they can buck on out of Canada for all I care, I don't like their coffee and I don't want to go inside to sit and chill for hours with a cup of coffee cause I wanna feel less lonely being surrounded by like minded coffee connoisseurs who have equally bad taste in coffee and in the concept of socializing.

Hello Ive been watching your videos. Toronto is a city I've fascinated by for years. I became more fascinated when I read an article where it was featured as one of the best cities to visit without an itinerary.
What would your opinion be on that. What would your suggestions be for visiting Toronto for a visit time visitor. I would seriously consider visiting Toronto over new York London or Paris because those cities are just too overwhelming.

I'd say just stay somewhere close to downtown and show up with no itinerary, there's plenty here. Cheers!

I find it amazing just how many Starbucks have closed. It's like half the places are gone.

Go to Tim Horton's for your coffee ; it's a Canadian corporation ; not an American corporation .

@@miles6593 Do a web search before you post.
On August 26, 2014, Burger King agreed to purchase Tim Hortons for US$11.4 billion. The chain became a subsidiary of the Canadian holding company Restaurant Brands International, which is majority-owned by Brazilian investment firm 3G Capital, on December 15, 2014. Doesn't sound Canadian-owned to me.

      @@PWingert1966 : You're right ; as of 2014 , Tim Horton's became controlled by American and Brazilian corporations .
      I actually had known this before but I have found it very hard to believe . It's like being told 2 + 2 = 5 when you know 2 + 2 = 4 .
Well , I guess it doesn't really matter too much which coffee shop you patronize . You might keep more jobs in Canada
if you go to Tim Horton's rather than to Starbucks but most of the revenues are still going back to the U.S.
Thanks for the fact-check . I'm still trying to process how the Hudson Bay Company became American owned .

Found the half broken "We're Open" sign (22:28) at the Eaton quite ironic. The indecisiveness is too real.
