    We have a 2004 that we use as a spare vehicle now. Wife drive a 2021 now. The 2004 has been flawless. Only thing we have ever done is break jobs tires and one alternator change the spark plugs twice at 100 thousand miles and change the coil packs once at 190 thousand miles. It got 292 thousand miles on it right now. Still run and drives great

      Good to here, these aren't bad SUVs, yea I know the spark plug ejection problems with some of them and cam phaser issues, but these engine can be very reliable if maintained correctly. It offers handsome styling for a 15 year old truck, decent acceleration, good towing capability's with 4WD, 2WD is alright to, comfortable seats, VERY roomy, I'm 6'5 about 265 to 270 and I feel great in there, not to terrible MPG if you can keep your right foot off the gas to much lol, and somewhat good ride, at times it will ride like a truck since it's based off of one... But overall there really good trucks, especially for the price, 182k on mines and still going strong 💪🏽.

      Same issue here. There's a plastic hose under the hood. 1/4 inch. Passenger side. Had a small leak. 1 piece of tape took care of that. Look on utube. I paid $3000 for mine. Rust free southern truck. It's my hobby truck. 33 inch milestar patagonia tires. Got rid of the running boards. 2 inch lift. 14,000 lb winch. New paint sometime this year. Have fun.

    I jus bought this same model (2004 1 owner), same color scheme, etc. For $3000 BUT I had to put 4 new tires, rear struts (jus went ahead and did the conversation kit instead the EXPENSIVE air struts), brakes and rotors. It has 143k miles on it. RUNS LIKE A BEAST!!!. MY NEXT steps will be replacements not repairs because she runs PERFECT!

    • @poppalance
      @poppalance 3 роки тому

      @Will Will ask them if they've done ANY MAJOR work like suspension, any fluid changed (differential especially), Tranny flushes (not drains), timing belts, etc. If not, plan on doing it your self. Chances are for $1700, it will need more than just a power steering pump OR they jus wanna get rid of it.
