I'm curious how efficient and reliable this strategy is - how good can you get your RoF? it's probably also worth trying with a full squad of Vilkas - 3 drone pilots and 1 missile bus. Every time a drone operator finds a target, the missile bus fires one off at the drone and then the process repeats until they run out of missiles, in which case one of the drone pilots becomes the new missile bus and the original missile bus becomes a drone operator - you could rotate the roles around constantly until you either run out or fully replenish at a cap this could be a very viable strategy when scaled up
I have a suggestion, maybe if you play with someone on squad, another using actual artillery tank with short barrel like M109 (USA, German, Israel), Type 75 SPH and you using the light tank with drone, in the same range. It's will makes artillery tanks in the game will functions properly and not forward to the battlefield like a battle tank. 😉
Is the missile switching targets mid flight because it loses the drone when it turns upwards, or is the hit because it can't follow the drone at such a sharp angle?

@@TNTHammer It's a spike missile, not meant for AA work. The problem is that fire and forget missiles can't be pointed at weakspots in war thunder.
