Honestly Sundowns know what they are doing.
The whole Sundowns stick to the vision and put relevant personnel in all the departments to put more adequate effort to work towards the vision.
From the management, technical team till players but trust me they know what they are doing.

Prior 2010 WC Safa promised to give citizenship to players that can bring quality and depth .And also work hand in hand with the academies to ensure proper development of young players. look at what MSFC is doing on emphasizing on youth development . the fundamentals are very important.SA can learn a lot from the likes of SC Palmerias ,RB Liepzig .

This coach is failing dismally to blend the experienced on form players with the upcoming players youth so to say.

The standard of football in SA is low and can be seen by how poor the "flagship clubs" are over the past 10 years. That costs Sundowns in the continent because there is just no competition to push them to a higher technical level locally in games that matter, as Manqoba puts it.

They didn’t retire him, they let him go. To retire was his choice. They let him go because he doesn’t fit their style of play. It happens worldwide. New coach comes with his own style

For Downs to be stopped this is a very harsh reality that all the other 15 psl teams that aren't learning to follow what Downs are doing might perhaps turn out to work against Downs in a few seasons to come. Sort out the clubs structures & implement the right knowledgeable people that know the club THAT HAVE WON TROPHIES FOR THE CLUB & then get the right players that will fit into the system & culture of the club then see how the train will run. Have a log term vision for the club then see what shall happen.

They are hypocritical for dropping Hlompho because of his age or whatever political reason but vouch for the likes of Modric and Ibra giving their best on the pitch.
They never dropped Keke because of the age but because of the GPS system bib that showed the distance he's covering on the ground and also performance analysis were looked at in terms of their playing style they wanted to introduce. Remember they signed Ralani who's the same age as Keke and they requested all that I spoke about from Cape Town City and it was a tick in their boxes. It was not because of age

Players that occupied their Positions are doing so well but in Bafana there's no attacking Midfield that is better than Zwane and also there's no DM that is better than Jali... we have Rhalani Onyango and Mweene to show that age is not an issue

That is a baseless argument...At Sundowns when a player is bought, it is a clear profile of who they want. There is a clear philosophy and style of play. Everyone even knows that their priority is to get defensive cover for a left footed center back also with Thapelo being more offensive they need cover for a right back. They don't just sign for the sake of signing, they are very specific about who they want and they make sure that the player is quality or the player is coachable and can be improved as you have seen with most players in their ranks. Most of them even making their debut for Bafana Bafana while playing for Sundowns.
They do not have monopoly on good players. Pirates has great players, Chiefs have great players, but are they getting the best out of them?...other teams are producing great players also.
For Sundowns that season during that COVID break before the bio bubble George Maluleka was brought to disturb us & prevent us from winning the league & that trick worked well for them... as for Maluleka he was also motivated by the money too but Chiefs made a huge blunder by saying should he sign for Downs then that will prevent Maluleka from playing for us for the remainder of that bio bubble conclusion of the 2019/20 season.
The guys are too old and washed out. They had their chance. Let Hugo do his job. He’s done well for us. He’s trying something new

@@chrismbatha455 if you take a closer look at it, the fact sundowns have a lot of money and there not being FFP in SA is the biggest factor contributing to lack of quality in our national side because sundowns buy the best players in our league and then bench them and buy south American players which also in turn makes the league not competetive because teams can't compete with them meaning their players don't get better
@@sihlejali8453 some of the players they re only recognised for bafana after they signed for sundowns.Chiefs is killing the national team coz they re not competitive in the league ,hence they is no one to select for the national team.If you can check sundowns players outnumbers chiefs players in the national team,so gather yo facts right b4 you make hatres comments
@@musiiwalovefilled4633 you missing the entire point, it's not a specific team killing the national team and thus our league, it's rather the lack of proper protocols enforced in our league to prevent one team with more money to dominant the league, the reason why Diego Simeone has been able to win la liga twice even though a team like Madrid has more money is exactly because of the strict wage/salary cap enforced in La Liga and globally the financial fair play rules which is also why Spainish players are some of the best players in the world and the Spain national Team has been able to win the world cup and Euro in a row not to mention.
