I’d correct you on this point: consider the EXIT price as well. If you pay a higher premium for a coin, but can recoup a higher premium selling… it may be a better way to go.
Great information Russ! Sovereigns are incredibly popular over here in Australia 🥳 the misconception about margins on bullion is something that definitely needs to be dispelled as much as possible too! 👌👌
Thanks for all the information. I appreciate the simple straight forward advice. With all the uncertainty we have in the world these days, I would not be surprised to see gold in the $2,100-$2,200 range sometime this year. Wish I lived closer to your shop. I would definitely be a customer. Thanks
Great video Russ . I myself love AGE and buffalos but I am very diversified in my gold stack . Yes profit is very small on standard bullion , better profit on numismatic or vintage bullion . Keep stacking my friend 😎👊🏻🇺🇸
I bought 2- 1991 gold eagles 1/2 oz paid 100 over ’spot . They were considered a key date only 24 minted. Sent them to be graded. PCGS graded them ms69. Therefore their numismatic value is now 4K ea. this takes time to locate but it’s a great gold eagle to collect
Hi, Millennial. I like Mexican Pesos. I buy one BU Eagle and one Proof Eagle each year for a date collection that I started with the Type 2 AGE. I don't make predictions, either, and I haven't found anyone whose predictions are correct. Of course, a broken clock is right twice a day.
When the masses are buying gold and silver, buy stocks. When the masses are buying stocks, buy gold and silver. Buy low sell high not the other way around. It is human nature to F.O.M.O.
Great info Russ. When it comes to fractional I like sovs as well. What are your thoughts on the US $5 Modern Commems? My LCS is $20 over on Commems & $30 over on sovs. Puts them within dollars of each other out the door. Which then begs the question of $5 Pre-33 Libs. Appreciate your advice! Thanks!
Modern $5 commems are also a fantastic way to stash gold! Super cheap and we all agree that it's gold. I'd avoid anything pre-33 unless you're willing to pay the premium.
