Thank you. I had previously felt as if I had wasted money on a Headspace subscription because, purely of my own fault, I did not use it well enough. Watching this video makes me glad that I was able to contribute to such good work. I don't have nightmares on any regular basis but this method of transcendence by the intentional transformation of negative stimuli is applicable to a wide variety of individual circumstances and needs to be preached from rooftops. With just a little encouragement like this, a person might be ready to be empowered to heal their mind.
I used to have lucid dreams ALL THE TIME when I was a teenager, and I would tell people in my dream that they were a dream lol I never had the ability to control them though .
I tend to enjoy my nightmares. However I've always had a fascination for dreams so that could be why. I think almost anyone can tbh, just think of it like psychedelics. As for lucid dreaming it's literally the most useful and underrated skill you can learn. Not only that but it can be very euphoric and fun, plus it often feels exactly like real life. I think everyone should start practicing lucid dreaming People who don't pay any attention to dreams are missing out on a whole universe of possibilities
Is it still a skill if you ONLY have lucid dreams and it’s purely unintentional? I’ve had ONLY lucid dreams since childhood. Most are reoccurring experiences and reoccurring locations. I realized I could control my dreams at around 7. Then I realized I have majority nightmares at 18. Now here at 22, my dreams get so bad that sometimes I wake up fighting, crying, screaming, or with extreme anxiety and sweats. Idk man but I can’t seem to shake it and idk what’s causing it.
so... i had a nightmare yesterday.. it was at a waterfall. it was a bit odd, so ofc i went in the water then i see this creepy face its got a smile. it tells me how long i have left before its gonna come after me and kill me. the time runs out and its after me as soon as im about to get killed or what ever i wake up and run crying into my mom as a 17 year old.
No, lucid dreaming is where you know you're in the dream while it's happening. This is dream incubation, choosing what to dream about before going to sleep. Completely different subjects
Its all true. This is backed by studies. I've been doing this since I was a preteen visiting my favorite fictional worlds and going on amazing adventures, fighting dragons, demons, ect. Becoming a vampire, flying, exploring the ocean and space. The possibilities are endless and it's much easier than lucid dreaming You know how you tend to dream about what your day was like or if you play a game it tends to fill your mind as you're falling asleep and you sometimes end up having dreams about it? That's basically a light version of dream incubation. Dream incubation is basically just doing the same with intention
I wish and pray that all readers have a very beautiful and successful life.
Thank you

Why does she act like it's just discovered? It's called Lucid Dreaming. Tibetan monks have been doing it for a long time. They call it dream yoga.

They just stole this from Inception
And where do you think Inception stole it from?
Dream incubation is a real thing. Inception is loosely based on real science around lucid dreaming
